~Appearance

1.) Body Structure
Jay’s body height is 5’6. He does have a bit more muscles in the upper body, but nothing too much. His wing span is quite large, and his tail length is at least as long as his body.

2.) Scales
Jay’s main body scale color is Green, but to be more specific, Emerald Green. The other scales that go down from his frontal neck, down to his lower tail is white, however…the white scales don’t have any ridged parts, meaning the white scales are solid.

3.) Hair
The hair color is green too, but it’s not the same shade as his scales, a bit lighter. The front part of his hair has a big, but short strand on the top, dropping down at the end. Below it however is a drooping long strand of hair, lightning shaped. This extends down to his chest sometimes. The hair’s mainly spiky. The back is spiky in the back, but is a bit droopy. The hair extends down to the beginning of his lower back.

4.) Horns
These are white colored and seems to have a lightning shape, but bends twice, just for one bolt shape. These are also flat and extends diagonally upwards. These are pretty long, but not much…

5.) Wings
Not much to explain here. The wings are the same color as his scales, and the wing membranes are white, like his horns. The back of the wings however are solid Emerald Green. The claw tip on the top is white too.

6.) Eyes
Basically, it’s green too, not the same shade as the scales…and a bit different from the hair. He does have a bit of a shadow around the eyes (Like some Animes do…), but it isn’t much…that’s optional. His eyes do show a bit of aggression when he’s in that mood, but it sometimes like that, but not always. His eyes can be in a Dragon like state, but only when in rage (Or transforming). Sometimes the eye color will change too while in they’re in a Dragon like state (Green, Blue, L. Blue, Black, Yellow, etc…).

7.) Marking, Details, etc…
The main marking Jay has on him is a scar (Like a slash) on his left (His left…) chest and the same side on his back, meaning he must’ve got stabbed by a large sword, or a tail spade…it goes down to his stomach. This is optional, but Jay does have a bit of a bump on the side of his mouth, meaning he’s starting to long grow whiskers like a Eastern Dragon, however, I haven’t decided on this…so…best to leave it out for now.
He seems to also have a small fang sticking out of the back of his mouth sometimes. His claws and talons are also white.

8.) Clothing and Costumes
Jay is seen wearing clothing just about all the time (He used to be human, so he’s not into not wearing clothes). His casual clothing is usually a black jacket (no hood) with large gold trimming on the sides of the zipper (and collar) and the end of the sleeves. There seems to be a black leather belt around the jacket, mainly to fasten it sometimes. He seems to also wear a gray or white tee shirt under it as well. He’s also wearing a pair of black denim jeans with a black belt fastening it. He sometimes will have a couple of small belts around the upper legs of the jeans in a diagonal direction. He also have a pair of Brown Dragon Boots. There’s a brown belt on them to fasten them . The accessories he has on are a pair of black fingerless gloves, however one glove has a black spiked band on it, doesn’t matter which claw. He also has a pendant, a gold one with a blue sapphire on it. This doesn’t have to be followed exactly, it’s up to you.

The costumes Jay usually wears depends…sometimes. Maybe it’s a costume from something existing. The ones that do he’ll be seen possibly wearing is a Red Mage costume from the Final Fantasy Series. He may also wear Sora’s clothing from Kingdom Hearts 2, or the Organization XIII clothing. Jay’s pretty much a Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts fan, so you might see him wear something from them. He might also wear a Super Mario costume, the only difference is that the cap, overalls, and shoes are black, plus there’s a “J” on the cap. The shirt however is green. Though, it’s rare to see him wear something like these…maybe. It’s possible he’ll wear something that looks like it came from Naruto too.

9.) Weapons
The main weapon Jay will use just about always is a sword. The types of swords though are usually a Broadsword, Buster, and Katana mainly. Jay has a few made swords, however I have no detail on them…yet. You may spot Jay using Keyblades…yeah, Keyblades…don’t ask. Beside those, he may use Kunai Knives or Shurikens as back up weapons. He may even use a pistol too, but that’s rare from Jay.

10.) Personality
Jay is pretty much a cool headed Dragon. He is usually happy. Though, he can be shown with a bit of aggression. He does have a bit of a short-temper sometimes if someone can get on his nerves. Jay’s not really the type to get so emotional like crying and sadness sometimes. He…can be a bit emo on a rare basis, or just plain content.

11.) Abilities
Jay can use mainly Wind, Dark, Electricity, Ice type attacks the best out of them. He can use Light, Water, and Fire too, but he’s not too good at it yet, still practicing. Sometimes though, he can have a aura around him. I haven’t really choose the style, but I’m going for like it’s coming off him slowly. The aura colors that’ll show is Green, Black, Red, and Blue.

That’s pretty much all of Jay’s appearance. You don’t have to follow them exactly if you don’t want too…

This is gonna be kinda hard to describe this guy, but hey...

Name: Forrest/Fred. Either or.
Age: loldunno
Height: 5 feet on the mark.
Weight: Chubby. Like, 293 pounds.
Face: Vulture skull with 3 teeth on each side. 3 holes in skull, eye socket with orange button eyes. Veins are visible. Orange poofy hair on each side of head.
Body: Blue green and very droopy fur. Purple wings, very skinny wings and small. Long arms with a red line/zig-zag on the back of his arms. No feet.
Tail: Blue and yellow striped. Shiney. Has a devil-ish tail arrow thingy on the end. Underbelly of the tail is tan with large, triangle scales.
Other: Can't move eyes. Never knowing if he's looking a certain way. Moves by slithering his tail and walking with arms is optional. Spends most of time in trees. No neck, so when he opens his mouth (rarly) it looks kinda funny. :B

Really sorry for bumping such a old topic, but I updated Jay's appearance, also with a few options. I made this a while ago and...well...you'll see.

Name: Jay Xavier Tanoshi

Species: Emerald Western Dragon

~ Introduction~
Hello, this will explain Jay Tanoshi’s main appearance. He does have many options which will be listed out as well. I will plan to sketch a few pictures to help out. If you have any questions, let me know.

1.) Body
--Height
Jay is a Emerald Anthromorphic Dragon that stands up at a current height of Five Foot, Seven Inches from head to toe. That doesn’t seem much for a Dragon, huh? He does get made fun of due to his height from time to time, and takes it seriously. He’s hoping to find something to increase his height someday, or just wait. Whatever comes first.

--Weight
This Dragon weighs about One Hundred, Fifty Seven Pounds. He pretty much average sized, no fat. He does carry muscles in his arms from carrying heavy swords and in his legs since he has a habit to run, a lot. There’s some muscles on his body as well, pretty good pectorals and a little visible six pack appearing. He loves to work out once in a while, so you may see him with more muscles.

--Options
Time to introduce the option section. These are where if you want to change Jay up a bit, I can give you the options to what you can do if you’re satisfied with his default look. Here’s some for the body.

1a.) Height. If you think Jay needs to be taller, go ahead and add a couple of inches or so. Just don’t make him anything Macro like. The maximum height I do recommend if you don’t like it is between 5’7 to 6’8. If you’re planning to draw him muscular (which will be explained later), it can go between Eight to Ten Foot.

2a.) Weight. Jay is leaning against the Muscle department. If you’re not too big on muscles, you don’t have to draw them. If you’re into Muscles and you feel like it, you can draw him with big bulging muscles if you want too. Sorry guys, no Fat or Inflation. Those are not my cup of tea, er…coffee.

2.) Scales
--Primary (Main) Scales
Jay Tanoshi’s scales are a bright, shining, nice shade of Emerald Green. The cover up the majority of the body, except where his Belly Scales are (Which will be explain in a bit). They don’t seem to fade or anything that much, due to taking daily baths, keeping them clean and shining.

--Secondary Scales
These scales seems to be a good, bright shade of White. They seem to go down from the frontal part of his neck, down the chest, past the stomach, and under the tail, all the way to the tip of it. The white scale molds around with the muscles, making them a bit jagged, also making the pectorals and six pack white.

3.) Hair
-- Color
This color seems to be a nice, shining shade of Bright Green. He likes to keep it messy at all costs, never really liking it all smooth. He does use gel to keep it shining, but messes with it until it’s right for him.

--Style
Like mentioned, his hair style is pretty messy, also spiky in some places. The first strand is a short, but straightforward strand, which curves a bit, sometimes downwards in the front. The second one is below it, long and jagged, like lightning. This extends down all the way to his chest, curved a bit. The hair on the side is spiky as well, sometimes facing back a little. The top is smooth, but gets spiky as it does down to the back. The back of it is spiky, going down to the back of his neck, at least to the beginning of his back. The sides and end of it are spiked, like curved thick needles.

--Options
1b.) Sometimes for some reason, the lightning strand, he’ll sometimes dye it black. This is basically usually if he wears something in the terms of Gothic.
2b.) The Length of the hair can change from being at the end of the neck, to the mid section of his back, or all the way to the tail base. If you feel it is right, you can add a ponytail. A good example for Jay is Zero from Megaman X or Megaman Zero.

4.) Eyes
-- Color
Real similar to his hair, they are bright green as well, shining. The pupil is rounded and black, which is normal, well to some. The eyes do represent that he was human before. He does have some shadow around his eyes like you’ll see in most animes and mangas. That is up to you though. His eyes show that he’s a nice, though aggressive. They look like they could stare someone down easily if he tries hard enough.

--Options
Jay’s eyes themselves can change in three ways. One is normal, second is Semi-Feral, and the last is Feral. I already explained normal, so let’s move on. Semi Feral happens when he’s upset, not in rage, but mad. It doesn’t usually happen, but it can if his anger is high enough. When that happens, the pupil changes into a cat’s eye like shape, however, the iris stays the same. Feral is when Jay is in pure rage, anger, and hatred. The iris’s color covers the whole eye, and the cat’s eye like pupil appears. They can change back once has Jay has calmed down. If Jay transforms out of pure anger, rage, and/or hatred, they’ll be pure white. The available colors while the eyes are not normal are: Blue, Light Blue, Green, Red, and Yellow.

5.) Horns
-- Default Shape and Color
Jay horns are a shining white, like his belly scales, meaning he makes sure those are cleaned whenever possible. They are shaped like lightning, pointing upwards diagonally. They also seem to be flat as well, which can make charging into someone with them really painful.

-- Options
Drawing them flat and lightning shape can be a bit too easy and simple, which is good to most people. You have the option to make them all rounded off and curved. If curved, they can share the lightning bolt shape, or can be curved downwards. Cracks and broken parts are optional, which can show Jay has been through a really rough battle.

6.) Wings
-- Colors and Uses
These large wings seems to be a bit of a darker shade of green than his original scales. They begin to darken around where the wings and back attach. The wing membrane is a good shade of white, however, the back of the wings are solid Dark Green. The claw tip at the top appears to be white as well, good for attaching them together in the front. These have quite a good wing span, great for flying and gliding, however, Jay has been known to rarely use his wings in terms of flight at times. Gliding, sure, but flying…I have no clue.

--Options
This is where you plenty of options. First off, if you’re making the wings, if you want them to look damaged, you are allowed to add tears in the wings. If you don’t feel like drawing the wings, that is perfectly fine, you don’t have to. Sometimes during transformations, his wings can be either white or black feathered, which represents Light and Dark. However, I would recommend using the Scaled Wings for Jay unless you are drawing him in a Light or Dark state, or none at all.

7.) Markings (Please take note, this is optional)
-- Scars
Jay seems to have plenty of scars all around. Each one is a tan-ish color, like skin. Here, I’ll explain each one.
1C.) The first one is on his left eye, cresent shape. I believe this is called a “Hero’s Scar.” This appeared in battle with a green and blue dragon named Dragoon, who slashed Jay with his gigantic claw.
2C.) This one is on his chest and stomach. It starts at his right pectoral, and diagonaly goes down to the center of his stomach. It has a somewhat shape of a lightning bolt. A black and red Dragon named Zenheart caused this.
3C.) Remember the one on his chest? He has the same one on his right back, same shape and length. This clearly states Jay was stabbed deeply by Zenheart Wait, how in Bahamut’s Flame did he survive that?! Well, he almost died, but someone used magic to recover him, who though? No one knows.
4C.) These are actually three marks, claw marks to be exact. They seem to be facing horizontal, though a bit diagonal. They are found on his back, right below his wings. Zenheart caused this as well.

-- Markings
He seems to have a couple of tattoos on him. First off is the dark blue cresent moon shape on his forehead. This represents darkness. No one knows where it came from however. Second is the Silver Star on the top of his right claw. This seems to be representing Light, in which a Light Dragon gave him this mark. Third, and finally, is the blue Eastern around his arm and claw. The “tail” starts at the beginning at the bottom of his elbow. The Dragon Tattoo curls around his arm and ends at the claw, with his head. It seems to have his mouth opened, like he’s roaring. Jay got that one in his human days, to represent he’s along side with the Dragons.

8.) Other (A few of these are optional)
-- Claws and Talons
The claws and talons on Jay are white as his horns. They are well sharpen, great for slashing and climbing. He doesn’t use them too much due to having large gloves on.

-- Whiskers? (Optional)
You know what I mean by whiskers? I mean the ones the Eastern Dragons have. These are optional, but in my opinion, I wouldn’t really use these too often in the drawings unless you want him to look Eastern and not Western.

9.) Clothing
- Default
Jay’s clothing is somewhat of a dark nature. His black denim jacket is like most. It extends down to his waist. There’s a smooth, shining blue fabric around the collar, cuffs, zipper, and below the jacket. The jacket may contain a hood, but that is optional. He tends to wear a white sleeveless shirt under it at times, sometimes not. He also wears a pair of long denim jeans at times as well, under it is a pair of white boxers. The jeans pants leg goes down to his foot, sometimes covering half of it. They tend to be loose, so he wears a brown leather belt with a golden buckle to support it. His boots are toeless, perfect for any animal with large talons. They are pretty then brown leather, but cloth inside to make it comfortable. The sole is a bit hard, but not like wood. This makes it easy to grip and stand his ground during battle. They go up, close to his knee, strapped on by a few small leather belts. His gloves are a thick leather brown, not fingerless. They have a Sapphire Gem with a gold ring around it, attached in the center of the glove by a small brown strap. He also has a collar that has the same gem, ring, and strap. The back of it has a golden buckle like his belt.

-Styles
Jay’s clothing style is usually focused on dark, sometimes Gothic clothing. He always like to wear something over his T-Shirt or Tank Shirt, like a vest or jacket. He likes to wear gloves, especially fingerless at times. He has been known to wear things on his wrist, like Spike Bands, which is the most common for him. He likes his clothes to be loose and baggy the majority of the time. Jay’s preferred colors in clothing is Black, Blue, Brown and Green. Black is the most common here. He can be seen with other accessories like Spiked Collars or a Silver Bracelet. He likes to wears things on his feet, mainly boots. The most common is toeless, but he has been seen with regular boots. Why does Jay like to wear something dark? He says cause it looks good on him.

Another thing, Jay loves to Cosplay, which means to dress up as his favorite characters from Japanese Animation (Anime) and Comics (Manga). Perfect examples are Naruto from well…Naruto, Sora or Organization XIII from the Kingdom Hearts, or Mario from Nintendo. There’s plenty more. If you want to know who else, don’t be afraid to ask.

10.) Personality

1D.) Content, but usually happy.
2D.) Protective when he needs too.
3D.) Caring for others.
4D.) Confident at times, never giving up.
5D.) Full of energy at times.
6D.) Calm.

-- Negative Emotions
1E.) Gets depressed easily and can beat himself up (mentally) at times.
2E.) Short Tempered.
3E.) Too curious.
4E.) Paranoid sometimes.
5E.) Perverted, especially around some Dragonesses, but this doesn’t show much.
6E.) Too Stubborn.
7E.) Too protective at times at his own stuff.
8E.) Impatient sometimes.
9E.) Sometimes rude.
10E.) Easily bored.
11E.) Scared easily

11.) Abilities and Weapons
--Physical
Jay’s pretty good when it comes to using Swords in combat, also along with Shruikens and Kunais. His style with a sword is usually quick slashing, trying to get a hit in quickly. His Melee moves are somewhat both Martial Arts and Breakdancing, though, his melee moves aren’t the best. He’s pretty accurate when it comes to a Shuriken and Kunai. He’s also pretty quick too, not too fast. If you could match his speed, the closest one you can get to is Fox from the Super Smash Bros. Series. Also, his style of running is similar to Sonic the Hedgehog and Fox if weapon-less.

-- Magic
He is able to use plenty of magic, mainly elemental. He can use the following elements: Wind, Electric, Water, Ice, Fire, Dark, and Light. Dark and Wind are his most used , followed by Ice, then Electricity He’s not too experienced with Light and Fire yet and has not learned any Earth Type abilities. He does have a few supportive moves, which are: Transfer, Trade, and E. Resistance. If you would like to know more, let me know. He may someday be able to use more advanced techniques, but for now, we’ll see.

12.) Facts
1F.) Jay’s human designs actually came from a drawing of a human version of Sonic I did in 2004.

2F.) Jay is a Dragon due to a RP with a Jade Dragon named Garral Yulong.

3F.) The Gloves he usually wears are the same type as Shrion’s in Legendz: Tale of the Dragon Kings. How unoriginal.

4F.) The Boot idea also came from Legendz. The one who gave me the idea was Anna the Harpy.

5F.) Jay’s original height was 5’4, however, I gave him a few more inches so he wouldn’t seem too…short.

6F.) The Kunai and Shuriken idea came from Naruto…Believe it. *shot*

7F.) Jay’s original secondary weapon was a pistol, which was inspired by Shadow the Hedgehog. I haven’t decided about dropping the idea yet.

8F.) He originally had three large white spikes on his head, but that has been dropped a couple of months later.

9F.) Jay became a Dragon in March 2006.

That's the closest Pawy has to a ref currently. Things you can't see about her would likely be - she's a dinosaur furry creature, she has paws for feet, and she has a blue, forked tongue. I could say right now that she has something of a yoshi form - just replace the aqua mane with three, cyan spines, cyan boots, and give her a purple, furless belly. She still has a longer than normal tail, though.

Pengoshi (also known as Al and Al the penguin)

I'm a black yoshi with orange eyebrows and orange shoes.

Ok. I remember posting on this topic a LONG time ago, but I can't seem to find that post (I know it's there somewheres, unless it got deleted...). I'll just make a new one then. =) for those who remember the old "me," cool! She hasn't changed much! Here's the stats:

ELECTRIC "Zappy" YOSHI
*Normal yellow -FEMALE- yoshi, only with random (small) tan spots here and there.
-Green eyes
-Long, scruffy, messy, wire-like blue hair
-Fangs (she's a vampire)
-Claws/ long finger nails (again, she's vampire, but you don't see them anyway)
-Tail has a kink in it

Acessories:
-Glasses
-Converse for shoes (or "Chucks," or "High-tops." I don't know what they're called any more)
-Wears a light blue hooded sweater that's way too big for her (in general, it goes down to her knees, and the sleeves cover her hands and still have tons of slack).
-Has a Doggie collar with a heart-shaped tag (or pendant actually).

That's about it. If you have an anthro style going - more power to you! Just give her plain old jeans if that's the case. If you aren't a yoshi drawer (which I doubt), it's the same exact description, only instead of seeing "yoshi" on my stats above, imagine it says "Kangaroo" (EXACTLY the same description- yup.)
Inspiration wise, if you get art blocked, maybe this will help:
-Zappy has electric powers that she can bairly control (they go off randomly! =D)
-Hates water
-Loves Guitar Hero


It's a little confusing- sorry. I'll work on getting a ref. picture up. (there's 'probly a REALLY old one deep with in this forum though...=) )
