Okay, so in PM:TTYD we know that Flurrie is a spirit, a spirit of wind. And it says Luigi performed in a play as an earth spirit. In the game "Yoshi: Topsy-Turvy" there are spirits as well. There is one, the "Spirit of Air":

...that made me wonder if it would be a neat idea to connect Yoshi's Island closer to Mushroom Kingdom? It seems as if there are elemental spirits.

Would it be a neat idea if a future game for either Mario or Yoshi had Flurrie be revelaed as the sister to this guy (The Spirit of Might):

Comparing him to Flurrie:

...they could be related! What are your thoughts, is it a dumb idea to make the games more closely bonded by this, and show some more of the spirits (by the way in the Yoshi game, there are 7 other spirits, viewable here

Yes it's active and unless I'm mistaken I don't think there is that rule.
