Well, I figured this needs a topic all on its own now. I'm sure we all know how Secret Santa works. It's simple. You choose a name at random (traditionally out of a hat with names written on slips of paper), and you must make a drawing for that person, but you don't know who gets to draw you  . Sure does. It's okay Melons, if you really can't, then don't. |

Well, this started out as a planned drawing exchange, but since we got such a huge response from the board with members that aren't all artists, we expanded the range from just drawings to all art. That includes fanfics and poems, I guess.

Uhm...now this is getting a bit confusing.
-Those who joined should have been those who could make drawings...or at least were going to try.
-It wouldn't be fair for everyone though.
ANSWER: one Secret Santa for Stories in addition to one for Drawings!!
PROBLEM: Drawing santa already started.
Anyhow, I'm still doing a drawing...at least trying. Artpad always has interesting results.

I don't see why people have so much beef over recieving something other than a drawing for this secret santa...I mean its xmas, be grateful you're recieving something at all. People are going out of their way to do something for someone to the best of their ability (albeit for free as well!) and all they get is criticism for it... : /
In any case - I've finished my santee's picture, and I ended up getting most of the character wrong. Now I feel awful, but I have other priorities this xmas so I can't redo it...at least, and have it in on time. I hope they'll be happy with what I've attempted, at least. Most effort I've put in a picture to date, heheh...

I'm done with mine... except I could have done without pressing the Redo button fifty times (at least it feels like fifty) and I even made a foot too big... aw well, it still game out alright.

Well, mine took pretty much half my Saturday last week, plus distractions and the fact that I kept coloring in the wrong layer, but I am done. Having no life makes creating art easier!  |

That's a pretty good start!
I only spent like an hour or so on mine...repeditivness of the re-does...mouse not going where I point...stupid re-does...good thing I can redo...but...so...annoying...color variety...so limited...(goes on and on and on and on and on (goes on and on about that too)).

I'm finally finished with the drawing for my santee. ;D The only thing I'm afraid of though is that they might be dissapointed, since my art doesn't exactly compare to some of the truly awesome talent here. So I was wondering if I could ask a question. Would I be able to do a poem as well? Just incase my santee is a bit dissapointed with the drawing.
