Animals do need to be used for some tests. Like pet food. How would we ever figure out what animals like to eat without testing different foods on them? We can't test it on humans because we taste food differently and pet food generally tastes disgusting to us, while it's tasty to animals.
It makes me sad that there is so much hate in the world --including humans hating humans. Maybe instead of concentrating on how horrible our species is, we should y'know... work on making things better?

I think he ment for make-up and other items. Pet-food is reasonable. And yes, I agree about how people think of their human race. It's not the humans, it's the indivisuals. Animals can be bad too, not just humans. Humans help animals. Animals help humans. And vise versa. It's all what you do, not what we do.

Miss Juice is right. I was talking about the tests that have nothing to do with animals at all. Why would you test make-up, for example, in other animals if they're so different from from humans? It doesn't make sense at all. At least not for me. Pet food is all right, i guess. =P And i know there are good people among our species, but i think they're the minority. And i really would like to help make things better for our race, but it's seems impossible. And sincerely, after all i've seen, i don't think our race deserves to be helped.

Testing cosmectics on animals is just insanity. However I do agree with medical testing. This is a world where we are infact using our intelligece. If a pig had the intelligence they wouldn't have any problems medically testing humans or serving us for lunch. It's a survival in the world. In oorder for us to live we must make sacrifices, and, infact, there are human testings out there.
The thing that really annoys me is animal rights activist. Not all of them, the extremist kind. A few months back some ARA dug up the corpse of a family who supplied guenee pigs for testing's grandmother and held it ransom so they'd shut down the farm. Destorying people's businesses with violent acts are just wrong. The reason some people are dirt poor is because there are a bunch of people out there who care more about animals than humans which is plain idiotic. If they really cared about medical testing and saving animals, why can't they volenteer for them to be tested instead? Everyone wins. I could rant for a while on this subject but I won't bore you.
Not much makes me truly angry, I just have a short fuse sometimes and get angry at meaningless things. But another thing that annoys me are some religious folk, Evangelist in particular. Why are they so stupid, I've never worked it out. They have no common sense whatsoever. They just read the bible and instantly believe it. Why? They don't even look deep into the meaning like most deviations of Christianity they just have no independant mind to stop it. Then the whole "God will save me" thing. They walk past a guy with a broken leg and just say "Don't worry, God will save you." If someone says it to me I just hope god is there to save them from my fist, seriously. They could have a Gun pointing at their head and still believe God will save them. The other thing is the "God did it" argument. If they do anything contraversial it was God's will. Like that's going to help when you're on trial for murder, eh? Sometimes people like this need to buck their ideas up. You can't speak to these people about anything, because they just reply "God's will". It's "God's Will" cancer and STDs are common, God's will that africa is so dirt poor, God's will the holocaust happened. No.
That's all I have for now. Plenty of stuff makes me happy. Being with friends, drawing, video games etc and I'm not made really angry for a good reason. I just have low tolerance for stupid people.

I guess I'm an idiot then =/ Why should i care about a race that is practically self-destructing and is nocive to this planet? I never found a good reason for it. And there are better ways to helping other animals instead of volunteer yourself to be tested. That's why I'm going to study biology and zoology, maybe i can do something about it. Biology and zoology I'm totally in support of, I was more talking about the extremists like the example I said. If you care more about animals, probably like a vet or something, that's fine, but don't go extremist because that'd just suck. If you can find a good way to help, go for it.

I agree with Twi on the extremists and people who put animals before humans. My dad is a prime example of the former.
Growing up, my dad cared about his dog (s) more than his children because much like you Symphonia, he felt the majority of humans were horrible people not worth saving. He still thinks that and has become a very self-loathing individual because of it (he is a human too afterall).
Do you know how much emotional damage that caused for my brother and I? Do you know how strange it feels to stand in a room with him while he tells his dog how wonderful it is and to see how much he spends on it? He has never said such stuff to my bro and I, nor has he cared to buy us as much as he would for his dog (for the record my parents are divorced so I don't live with him and rarely see him but when I do, he doesn't enjoy having us around).
I guess my major concern, Symphonia, is that right now you're young and at a stage where hating the human race is common. However as you get older those beliefs will morph you into someone much like my dad. I would just hate to see that happen to you. It's okay to care about the needs to animals but if you start to view the entire race as unworthy it'll have dire effects.
To be fair, I still sometimes view the world that way, mostly on a bad day. Also, I'm currently taking Biology in University in hopes of becoming a veterinarian. I love animals a lot and would like to help them too, though I still try to put humans first.

Well, i'm sorry for you and all Vapor, but i don't think it'll happens to me. Even though i don't like this race at all, I don't think EVERY SINGLE person in this planet is like crap. I know there's good people in this planet. And i can control my hate towards humans, don't worry. As for the self-loathing... i don't loathe myself just because i'm human. As long as i know i'm going to at least try to help this tortured planet, i'm all right with me.
...
Geez, that sounded cheesy ._." Oh well.

People who are feeling hatred to humans, think about this:
"Without evil, there would be no good. Without war, there would be no peace. Without cowardice, there would be no courage. Without fear, there would be no bravery. Without immoratlity, there would be no morality."
I forgot who said that quote, but it's one of my favourites and it's a good one to remember I think.
EDIT: This quote is also good: "All good deeds are based on evil."

Short, sweet and a combo.
While there are plenty of things that will get me worked up or upset in various ways, they are insignificant in the grand scheme of things and I know it so I don't really dwell on it.
But something that genuinely makes me mad, though mostly sad on a very deep level is being used or taken advantage of to someone else's gain. Especially if I consider(ed) them a friend.
Problem with me is, I can never just seem to wash my hands of it and stop caring. I don't make a lot of friends and I have no real desire to do so. Better a handful of close friends then a ton of vague ones. Unfortunately, once I commit myself to actually caring about a person, which is a seldom thing, then regardless of how I'm treated, I'm highly unlikely to tell them to get lost. I still actually want to help them out etc.
So its mostly brought upon myself, but I accept that.
