What do you think? Honestly, I think this has to be the best year for me yet! I know of so much bad that has happened, but compared to all the awesome things, to be honest, the negative has nothing . I mean, I found my true love, I've gotten buttloads of new music, settling into college, done quite a bit of art, made a lot of new friends, gotten closer to my old friends, been to Japan and Taiwan, meeting Graedius, Mailtroid, Blood, and Fifth in real life, and the list goes on! And for those who would vote that this is the worst year, I'd probably have to disagree only because you're voting on the mood you're in just now. I'm sure there has been a lot of positive outcomes that hasn't quite come to mind.

This is a good year for me. This is the year i met lots of new friends (Toshi, Teh, YW and others) and when i started drawing yoshis. Unfortunatly this wasn't enough to balance out one of the worst beginnings of a year ever (i don't wanna talk about it). Great second half cancelled out by....bad "things"

Contrary to popular belief, this was my best year ever. I have experienced hate, love, contentment. All that stuff. This year has had some of the worst negatives in my life, as well. Actually, it DOES have the worst negatives in my life thus far, but it also has the strongest positives in my life thus far, too. This year has had so many new, exciting, and memorable events -- just quite an overpowering year, particularily emotionally. Judging from how things are ending this year, I look forward to next year oh so greatly.

I would say that it was one of my better years, but I can't say that it was my best. I don't even know what my best year has been, but I believe that it is still ahead of me. I have great memories of this year, and I can't even begin to list them all off. While 2005 was a great year for me. I anticipate 2006 to be even better.

I adore this topic you made Teh... you always seem to be full of good ideas. I agree with you though, this year even through some things has been the best year that I've lived by far. I met Joshi at the end of last year, around November and December. Then this all became 2005, and from that moment on I've learned a heck of a lot from so many diffrent people. I could go on, to give a list of everyone who has done something to brighten so many days, but there is so much to say about this year.
I came to YC, earlier this year due to talks I always heard about it from Joshi. I always heard about all the members who went here. More less, I would hear stories about the ones who more less took part in a lot of this place, well... seeing how Joshi was one of the ones who was here for so long. I met a few friends on a board made by Joshi and Rage and I loooong ago haha. Thats where I met Dragon and began to look around here. The stories of this place, and all everyone had done had always amazed me. But, you know, they were all true; everything that was said about what this place was, was never off.
Other things happened this year, silly things that always seemed to get to me. But you know, no matter what, there was always someone there. Always one of you, always a friend through everything. I owe so much to this place, and so much to everybody for always giving what they can. Those who say society is slowly falling apart have not been here, and they could not understand. There's so many good people out there, and coming here in 2005 showed that to me a heck of a lot.
Emotionally, things have really risen beyond anything they ever were. School wise, things have gone great, and everythings been the way it should. For the first time to I got to do some community service, and that adds up a lot. It's fun to get out and do things, just to have some fun every now and then if you can make somebody or something smile. A lot of people here have taught me how to do things that I never knew before. Seeing everybody, and seeing what makes friends true friends, has really made this year so perfect in so many ways.
Then there's one, who helped me through so much, when times got tough this year. No matter what, this person was always there, till the very end. I owe my life on that matter, and everything around it. This person has a heart of gold, and forever will that I can say and believe. May the best of life, and the best of this year be with them for all they have always done. I do at times, take all of whats happened this year for granted, but I never mean to... and theres a lot I wish could always stay the way it is now... but everything comes to change I suppose.
It's always suprised me, because when I first came here and always heard stories about all of you; you know.. I never thought I would really get to talk to any of you. But I got the chance, and I'll hold onto that very dearly until the end. This place during this year has truthfully been a life changer all on its own....
In total, I don't think there will ever be another year like this. This alone has really changed how I look at things. Coming here has really opened me up, and I don't feel like hiding things anymore. If it wasn't for you guys, so much would still seem so slummed. I wish everyone, the best coming year! What's to come.. well thats actually a really hard thought, I'm going to hate seeing everything going back in the past... but I suppose the future is always brighter.

The best. I finally stopped acting like an idiot and matured a bit. It's when I joined here, my first forum ever TRIPLE BONUS MULTIPLIER ! ! I made the coolest friends, and learned how to draw by looking at the brilliant art here. I found my true love and, and well I also endured the hardships of family matters, but all in all, this has been a fine year!

Since I'm a kind of positive minded person, I don't really remember any "very bad things" from 2005 (itsa 2:00am 'ere, woohoo!). Well, that also can be a side effect of those drinks I've drunk in the name of celebration, err, anyway... so except my, like, 4 month long depression - which is 'an unforgetable experience', I'm afraid D: - I can't recall any seriously wrong things from the near past.
Lotsa positive things happened, though - I became an editor of a popular videogame site here (20K visits daily omgwtfbbq), I successfully got my DS, among other nice videogame systems and games, I mastered HTML and CSS (next targets: PHP and Javascript), I met a lot of online friends of mine in real life and etcetera. Maybe my drawing skills have improved a bit... maybe ;P
So in retrospect, it wasn't a bad year at all, but I think 2005 wasn't better or worse than other years either - for me, at least.
Happy New Year to everybody, btw! Hope you all will have a wonderful time in 2006. And hope there will be a Metroid Prime episode for Revolution in 2006. D:

I'll say this year has been better than the average for me; mostly because of the new information. College has allowed me to spread my mockery of Communisum to not only include the Soviets, but also the Chinese and Koreans as well. Ya can't put no price on that.
I count my lucky stars -- or would count them, if I was in to that kind of thing -- that I haven't experianced any spectacular disasters this year. Only the run-of-the mill diasasters. Unless the RIAA just decided to press charges. I think it's the kind of agency that would. Step up and accuse someone then just hide, quite possibly in the bushes, until the accused feels their safe... then... BAM! Pounced by a lawsuit with intent to kill. Fatality!
...Anyway, similar to what Teh entered earlier, I've also made new friends and have gotten closer to old ones both on and off this new-fangled interweb. 2005 has so many good memories for me, I have high hopes for 2006.

At afternoon, I went to Siam Paragon for the first time ever. There was a 3D screen with no glass required, it was 3D advertisement! Then, I was played the Dual Screen there, and I met some of my cousins.
At new year celebration, it's the worst year ever, there are so much people and I can't see anything. But at least, I can take some shots there. It was very bigg!
It was the best and the worst year!
Next year I think I won't go out anymore..
