my brother used to have it, I think for music, there was nothing wrong with our computer, but the next few days the thing totally did nothing, it was slow as crap!
my dad was mad! he handed the computer to some computer maker nerd guy, and luckely he made it *phew* since then we don't use Limewire anymore, and the computer is still working fine, I don't even know if the problem was Limewire, but my dad and bro say so.
I rather use Bearshare to search music and cartoon series on =P

Limewire's actually one of the safest P2P programs (not THE safest, just one of) I've found. The program itself doesn't come with anything, so all you have to do is be careful about what you download. Then again, that basically applies to the entire Internet...
