im sorry but i think that zelda series games are kindof better cuz you cant go anywhere without adventure!! but i still like mario alot because of....well...YOSHI!!!!!! XD

Zelda... or Mario.... or Yoshi. Those are some very hard choices you know. Each game has it's own great quality and some are seperated by Genre. I mean, Zelda was a great RPG; there are hardly any that could come to surpass it. Mario was the geniune platformer, and Yoshi, well theres a lot you could go on with that one. Yet, each held their own; the others are just as important. But, as many said I'd have to go with Mario due to the fact without him, platformers would just not be the same.

I've always loved the mario series but it's getting pretty lame nowadays. They turned Bowser into a huge weenie who acts like a 7-year old with a kiddie crush in Paper Mario and Paper Mario 2. Mario Sunshine was way too short and easy, and they keep churning out party after Mario Party and misc sports games. Probably the only storyline I REALLY liked was Superstar Saga since it was new and original.
I haven't played Mario & Luigi: PIT yet so I can't judge it, or the upcoming Super Princess Peach game. I hate how Nintendo keeps releasing all these new extra consoles because I can't afford to keep up with them all. I remember buying an Advance and then the SP came out... and now it's the DS and the upcoming Revolution. I will eventually play them but I hate having to wait because I have to spend hundreds on the system and the games.
So yeah. I grew up with the mario series so it will always have a place in my heart... but I've been disappointed with where it's going, especially after Mario Sunshine.

Still the only pokemon? *gasp* 0o0 I forgot to tell why I like it..... I like it a lot because....
1: The game never ends. You can play mario, but once you win, it's over. Pokemon, you keep on playing untill who knows and the game never ends. ^^
2: I might sound weird or mushy, but seriously, for me....I have like a bond with my pokemon. I would never trade a pokemon I deeply cared about. Like Kurogi, I am REALLY attached to him. A lot of other pokemon too. I can also name a lot of others who feel this way too.
3: There is no 'Ash' in Pokemon games. I can't STAND the guy.
4: The pokemon are so dern cute! ^,^
