oh huzzah this topic sounds fun, well personally i think that there are only four logical elements, air, water, fire and earth...but there are others that go beyond the ones i listed like life/death, light/dark, spirit, and time i think that these are the most common and most logical but what do i know ...love the topic [glow=red,2,300]chow![/glow]

I think the most basic used for things are, these, and they generally follow this pattern of strength/weakness: Sometimes there's an "Astral" or just "Arcane" -- "Other" Category of Magic with no particular weakness. Most of the other things thatyou guys mentioned were more or less individual attributes that could be a direct result or categorized within any of these. *Note that Ice is often considered water, and sometimes lightning considered air, in a system where there's only Fire, Earth, Water, Air, (and maybe Darkness/Light).

Um, I can only think of "Anima" which is the combonation of the four elements in the game Fire Emblem...or something like that I can't remember ... sorry...I played it at my friends house a long time ago and Anima is what I think the 4 elements comobnied are. Maybe you should google it or something!
