Now would be a good time to slow down. While this thread may be used as information to assisst you in your book, this is more than just an avenue to collect data. It's a discussion. It shows a logical progression from the act you described to the impact some people's beliefs have on it, then to the basis of those beliefs. They are not wastes. I'm sure the person in question here probably would not understand the bulk of that post. -- Which isn't your problem. |

time to clear up some stuff ^_^
the number 666 representing the Devil came from the Romans. Nero, one of the emperors of Rome, fed thousands of christians to the lions. Nero also had a coin system made around Rome and the coins always had the number 666 on them which represented Nero. Christians took this and made it represent the Devil because they thought of Nero as a Demon.
actually Gar, we are both right XD. God had commanded Nephi to kill King Laban to get the Brass Plates like you said, and he killed him because he would of brought Jerusalem into more wickedness and the Ishmael family line may have not joined them from that influence. Another reason, however, that God had Laban killed, is because he wanted to see if Nephi would stay obedient to God. God could of killed Laban on his own or anything else but he was giving a trial to Nephi.

well wat did the romans think of nero...they hated him...he was as bad a caligula and the other emperors of the pax romana...so quite frankly i think it fits

I would kill myself if possible, but this is so gross to talk about (sorry, I want to be a doctor but can't stand blood, hehehehe) If my friend wants redemption I'd let them have it but if they are a super friend then I'd do it. It is hard, because we may both want it so we'd have to draw straws or something, or maybe one wants it and the other doesnt so the one who doesnt pushes it towards the one who does, or they both dont want it and fight. Since they both cant live and both cant die its hard to answer. Gosh, this is really confusing me! I'll just stop now!
