Personally I fail to see the point of evolving in such a manner that exposes your greatest weakness and makes it larger. I mean, look at the size of that brain -- you could pick that thing off from a hundred miles.

Still, that massive brain is like half the visible body... it's a huge target for some area-of-effect tihng, like a bomb or something, TRIPLE BONUS MULTIPLIER ! !;

They have incredibaly armoured skin... a few gunshots to the head doesn't do much to them. And bombs are inpractical.

Still, a few armour piercing rounds to the face wouldn't do then any good.

Their main advantages are speed and strength of numbers so eventually unless you have enough ammo and guys to fire it you'll get overwhelmed quickly.

And this is why we have Nuclear Bombs. When all hope is lost and other options expired, just clean the slate with a few anhilliating explosions.

Not with aliens, nucelear bombs probaly won't have an effect on the Hunters, they're really well armored!

There's also the fact that they are beetle like insectoids, and will probably be imune to the effects. Anyways... when are you ever going to have nuclear bomb handy?

I'd think a themonuclear warhear would do a decent job of vapourising them.

Again the same problem arises... where would a normal person be able to get thermonuclear warheads? It's a shame. Ruins a pretty good plan.

I mean nuclear weaponry, thermal or whatever, is near impossible for your average Jo Blo to come accross.
