I wanna make lyrics for when Yoshi sings his theme.
Lets get some Ideas, then I'll put it all together!

Not as far as I know. This sounds like a cool project. Lesse...
Definetly use the words Yoshies, colors, cute, eggs... and other Yoshi-related words. Not that good of a lyric writer, but I suppose this is a cool idea!

If there was a theme song for Yoshi, it'd be too good for any human language to handle.
...Either that, or just an excuse for my laziness to think of such lyrics. Sorry.

they yoshi's say "the end of all" from what I hear when you clear a stage in yoshi's story. the rpg's clearly state yoshi's speak english

If yoshi's didn't speak english in RPG's, you would be VERY, very annoyed, pained and confused at points. Not to mention the extra work the crew would have to do.
From the yoshi story clearing and how they sing, I find their... I don't want to say sounds, but voices seem to have different meanings, ranging from "We thaa-ank you," to "The ee-end of all" and the like. But a yoshi theme song? Hmmm... I thought about one a while back... but the theme song would have to change depending on what you're doing. Maybe you want a soft theme, maybe you want it sudden with lots of Pizazz, maybe you want it with several voices of different kinds and effects.
What's going to be the title of your song?
A few words I thought of that just seem to fit with anything:
Hero, world, life, warmth, rage, shine, dream, try...

do most characters get full lines (besides peach and toadsworth) in a voice over? yoshi probably does speak english.
