Well, I'd fight the zombie leader and go to bed.
If there isn't one, I'd go to the library and nab a book on how not to die to a zombie.
If it really happened, I'd run to the nearest airport.

An axe sounds real nice. However I would rather 'torch 'em. I doubt Zombies have any working tissue (if so then how can they even walk to begin with?) to feel pain so they would just burn until there is nothing but ash left. I would carry at least a bakers dozen of incendiary grenades and plenty of flammable material to go with a keg of gasoline. This sounds really dangerous but so does a slew of cannibalistic, dead humans.
Firearms would prove pretty useless, reason being you can only connect a couple of lethal shots before a) you run out of ammunition and/or b) the Zombie infestation overwhelms that puny Desert Eagle .50 your carrying.
So, I would carry at least a baseball bat, hammer or some type of weapon for close encounters, before I flee and toss a couple of molotov cocktails. Its gets tricky after that. I'm planning on some assistance because those tactics alone would not be effective for too long. After I'm covered by militia I would probably set up ambushes by fishing zombies into a spot where I can corner them into burning to, uh, death. This sounds like tons of fun as long I don't get infected by zombies or burned. As soon as all my flammable resources are extinguished I'll probably just grab some pistols and hope I connect enough shots to get away. If I manage to make it past that I'll just catch the earliest flight far away from the epicenter of this zombie epidemic.

I wuld Use ALOT of acid and an water pump whou culd stand the acid to melt the zombies.. it wuld be a usefull thing to hawe an axe or a Sword do defend myseld in case of close combat

You do realise a Desert Eagle is pretty much a cannon?  I'd much rather have a firearm in case of a zombie outbreak than a bat or a sword purely because it puts distance between you and them, so naturally they can't chew your face if you're plinking at them from a distance with a rifle or something. Although as far as I'm aware a shotgun would be more useful, but due to lack of any recent zombie outbreaks I wouldn't know : |

If your sniping them with a rifle you better hope that your on high grounds that is inaccessible to zombies. But if your carrying a shotgun then you better hope you have enough ammunition to last. |

Ideally, you'd only be blasting guys when you really needed, and spend most of the time on the run, considering that you'd be far outnumbered. Yeah, a bat or something is going to be helpful but I wouldn't exclusively rely on if you have a shotgun to hand. I really only recommended that because shotgun shells might a relatively common ammo source, depending on where you are. Also with a shotgun you pretty much have to point it in the general direction and fire, I'd guess theres a lot less skill needed to aim and fire a shotgun than a rifle.

HAH! ZOMBIES!? ...I pwn them, and eat them for breakfast! (and on occasion, lunch. xD)
But, really, I'd just go ahead and maybe just, like.... Bust out some kind of... Biiiiiig thing to smash them with. Like, my swordy! =D
It's big. And metal. I like big metal things! >=D
Of course, as a last resort, I'd have my un-working rifle to club them with. Or my paintball gun to shoot them. xD

I'd get my baseball bat, my Tennis racquet, and a lot of food. XD We'd also learn what happens when you give an evil Chao owner a stepladder and a chainsaw. XD
I'd flip through my bookcase until I found out what Zombies eat, then I'd hang an anvil over the stepladder. I'd put zombie food up on the rungs of the ladder, then drop the anvil on the first several that get near. Then, I'd beat their heads off with the baseball bat and get the heck out of there. Then it's time for THE SAW.
After I dimembowel a few zombies, I'd hide at the park and eat something. We live somewhat near an airport, so I'd pull a Teo and hijack one XD
Lots of ideas. It all comes down to which weapon I find first, haha.
