Yes, Smash Bros Melee really is a great game and I've had it for 2 years. My record in home run mode is around 514m with Yoshi. Beat that. ;D

SSBM! It has Ness and Mewtwo! ...And it's super-customizable.

As of yesterday, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max for PSP is pretty good. After extensive playing I can now say this is one of the worst fighting games I ever played. How about that

Soul Calibur II and III, ftw! Probably the most fun I've ever had with any fighting game, seriously. SC Crew fo' life. Kilik owns ALL.
I really liked Tekken 3, too. The best of the entire Tekken series, no doubt. Gon and Tekken Ball Mode are the best. X)
I don't like considering SSBM a fighting game, for some reason. Then again, I don't know what else I'd consider it. XD Definitely one of my most favorite "fighting" games, too. So addictiiiiiing.
I think I got about 3,000m. I can't remember the exact number.

Primal Rage like, scarred my innocent inner child for life. The point of my downturn to darkness.

My soul rages with strength!"As far as SC2 is concerned, Yunsung was the best, though. They spell it Yun-seong in SC3, why I don't know, but you will NEVER see me say that name in that way, ever. And then SC3... custom characters up the freakin' yinyang over here XD I can make a Strangie. And make him use Soul Calibur. So awesome Double-scoop ice cream Ah, SSBM, how can I not mention that... of course, everyone should know what my fav. character is. Ice Climbah foreverizzle, dawg. *random gang symbol* Going old skool now, I like playing Street Fighter 2 Turbo on ZSNES. In fact I was considering making that one of the next games for a future gaming tourney if people will actually PLAY. Ryu and Guile all the way. HADOOOKEN! SONIC BOOM! *kung fu freakout wtf* Good times. ;D

2 Turbo and 2 "The New Challangers." Don't forget about that Flash Kick.
That is one of the stumbling blocks of this; people like to have entertainment but they don't like to work for it, they'd rather have everything handed to them. Kinda like how people like to go on the internet but they don't like to read.

I played mortal kombat and I kept playing till I manage to make at least one fatality (which I almost tear my controller apart) and then I kept myself with Super Smash Bros Melee until... Soul Calibur 2 XD

I splintercell 3 counts as a fighter game on Spy VS Merc, if your a spy so, that would have to be the most addicting.

I remember the Splinter Cell online being awesome, even if it's not really a fighter game. Come to think of it, I don't really play fighter games at all. I remember renting Fight Night Round 3 and it was good, but besides that I can't think of anything.

The Smash Bros. series, Mainly because it's such a huge departure from the standard "beat the living snot out of your opponent until they run out of health", placing emphasis on "beat the living snot out of your opponent until you can send them sailing out of the ring" I've spent countless hours playing that game and I never tire of it. Though the Tekken series is also quite win.

Whoa, two year old topic. Gotta watch those dates, guys. But ah well.
It'd still have to be Smash Bros, man. Second as opposed to Brawl. Brawl was cool and all, but I still love Melee.

Meh, it's relevant info. A bump here isn't bad, really.
As for me, I'm addicted to King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown, and Guilty Gear. I wasn't much of a fan of Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat, to be honest. I'd always look for those Neo Geo fighters. Fatal Fury/Real Bout Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, World Heroes, Samurai Shodown, etc.
