Paper Mario. Actually, the first two Yoshi-including games I played were Super Mario Bros. DX (Challenge mode) and Super Mario World for GBA.

I'm pretty sure it was Super Mario World. I remember playing it at my uncles then being dissapointed when I played on an older version of Super Mario All Stars.

I got introduced to Yoshi with my first game ever, Super Mario World on the SNES. But I really became a fan with Yoshi's Island, and then with the racing on Mario RPG, all of which on the SNES. It's been all uphill from there, especially when I met John and eventually found my way here. ^^

Yoshi's Island. My mom actually played it when she was pregnet with me. So, I guess that means I was playing games before I was born!

For me it started at Mario Paint, when I was three.  I loved coloring in Yoshi most (According to my family), but I can't remember any of it. I have some cute pictures of me playing it though, and coloring in Yoshi. Despite the loss of my hand-eye coordination, I'm still pretty talented at painting words onto grains of rice. |

Yoshi's Isle of Fire Melons.
Yee, I loved that game from the moment I played it. The colorful graphics were just eye catching to me because I was... six. Colorful things attract young'uns and flies, you know.
But Yoshi was just... ultra combustion awesome to me. He just looked cool to me, and I adored his cute personality. Because I like cute things. And he reminded me of both a dinosaur and a dragon. At the time, I loved both. I still do, but my love of dinosaurs isn't as widely advertised as it used to be, despite the fact it's still there.
Fire Melons are spiffy.

I first started to like him when I played Yoshi's Story in a hotel room. But, it wasn't until I got Mario Party 2 that I really liked him.
It's kinda 50/50 between Yoshi's Story and Mario Party 2

Mario Kart 64. I loved Yoshi's karting abilities in the game, but eventually, i began to love Yoshi for who he is ^^ Mwahaha, we have something in common! I don't remember all that well, even though it was only about nine years ago. The first time I remember being really good at Yoshi, and really liking him, was when I first started playing videogames. I remember playing him a lot in Mario Kart 64. |

In SMW, whenever I was hit while riding Yoshi and he ran away, I always got sad when he fell down a hole or something.

In SMW, whenever I was hit while riding Yoshi and he ran away, I always got sad when he fell down a hole or something. HE WAS MY LITTLE BUDDY! WHY MUST THE LOVED DIE YOUNG!?! I kinda felt the same way when i first got the game. I was like this is awesome! Then...noooooo!! Yoshi fell!! My favorite colored yoshi on the game is blue yoshi. He can fly when you eat any turtle shell. |
