Hmmmm... For me, I think it would have to be Super Mario World. It's been so long since I have played that game.

Hmm... I'd have to think about that. I started to like him in Super Mario 64 and then it just went from that I guess.

Ah, how this brings back memories.. for me I would HAVE to say Yoshi's Story, one of the best games ever created. ;D I love it, and it's drop-dead-and-make-your-heart-melt-with-happiness-cute. Such a fun game it was.

Super Mario Kart I was three years old and it was the first game with Yoshi that I've played.

Super Mario World for the SNES!
I always had a Yoshi with me, and if I didn't I would go to a different world and get one.
And imagine how obsessed I became when I found out you can get a blue, yellow, or red yoshi! Nostalgia-ing now...

This brings me back. I first met Yoshi in a used copy of Yoshi's story. I had no idea who Yoshi was. I loved that game. FUN. It went up from there, and I began using Yoshi in melee.

I actually didn't start loving Yoshi in a game. See, there was this girl in the 3rd grade (had a huge crush on her, but I didn't know it then lol) who also loved Yoshi. We became friends and she was basically the one who got me into video games to begin with. So yeah. She also introduced me to Yoshi. But the first game I played that had Yoshi in it...I think it was Mario Kart 64.

Gonna have to say Super Mario World is the game where I first started loving the lil bugger. That was the first time I saw Yoshi, and I will never forget that. But honestly, what got me into the fandom was Yoshi Story. Haha, I actually have that little bundle of gold to thank for making me who I am today. One, of course, it shoved me into the fandom and two, it inspired me to start drawing and writing. Ah, I remember watching Toshi (my Toshi, not the one that draws hilarious comics) grow and evolve into what he is today...which, it turns out, isn't a yoshi at all. Then again, I've separated him and Seth (his current non-yoshi self) so I can still keep Toshi alive (though I haven't drawn him at all since then...I am ashamed). Honestly, I don't know what I would be today without Yoshi. I thank Shigefumi Hino from the bottom of my heart.
