This thread has answered a few of my questions, hahah...
And, yeah my character lays eggs...I guess that's all I can say.

I guess my character can... but doesn't do it.

What every one else said about the eggs. As for myself: yes, but don't want to.

Yeah, Yoshu can lay eggs... But not child-bearing eggs... he uses them for offensive purposes only. Becuase of his techniques utilizing the wind, the eggs often explode to reveal small whirlwinds.
Earlier, someone said something about the reproduction and digestion systems running together, or close together. That seems to be the most resonable solution...
However perhaps female yoshies lay fertile eggs, and that those eggs are softer, and need time to hatch, in a nest. male yoshies may lay empty eggs, with a harder sheel, that they use as a weapon.... Just a suggestion.
:edit: Jeezums! I just relized I bumped a month-old topic... I'm terribly sorry.

You scum!! D:
Heh, no worries. As long as it's a worthwhile post, a day late wouldn't hurt, nothing to get pee-pee hurt all over for. Isn't that right, guys? RIGHT!?

The way I see it, all Yoshies lay eggs, as the equivalent of going to the bathroom. That's what makes them expendable. Of course, female Yoshies would have the ability to lay eggs which could be fertilised. I would go further into it, but I won't just now.
