Haha, I remember that. Except for some reason I pictured a Kirby-related yoshi because of the planet "Popstar" and Cammiluna's character "Sailor Popstar".

Although if I went by what I used to call yoshi's as a child it would be something along the lines of loshi just because I couldn't pronounce the letter 'Y'

I've always been Sayunu, or to be more precise, "sayunu" written in hiragana. BBS systems popular in Japan generally distinguish users only by their names, so my friends wouldn't recognise me if I changed my name...
Even so, people change their names, and confuse me a lot.

i first started liking yoshi when super mario world hit the markets for the snes. that was a great game, so much FUN!! i always liked the red yoshi, don't ask me why >,>. my favorite power was the blue yoshi who could fly (hehe, i'm a poet!)
back when starcraft hit the markets (Gotta stop using that term,) i was playing a use map settings game of cats and mice (only a true starcraft nerd would know what that is XD.) anyhow, it was sort of like a game of cops and robber i guess. you were a mouse, along with a few other real players, usually as the protoss probe, and had to run away, build, and find a way to defeat the opposing human player (cat) who was (i haven't seen otherwise in any other map >,>) a zerg ultralisk, and yadayadayada. i was playing with a charater named "baby_blue_yoshi" and whenever he/she was killed, i would run to save them, saying "I'LL SAVE YOU, YOSHI!!!" i know it was silly >,> <,<.
after the game i made a new starcraft name (wont reveal my old one cause it gives away my password, lol) named red_yoshi_egg i think. i'm such a nerd >,> <,< after a few months, i suppositly "hatched" into "red_baby_yoshi" and, eventually "red.yoshi." (orignally pronounced red DOT yoshi) where did the "." or "dot" come from? red_yoshi was kinda taken >,>'''.
i was surfing the internet one day for nintendo cards. i never heard much about them and i wanted to see what they were like. i stumbled apon TYFN, or the yoshi forum network as many of you know. i was obsessed. it was my first forum, and i was learning quickly about how it worked. i made many friends, many who have probably forgotten me, or i liked them and they didn't really like me back ^^:;;. but i was red.yoshi on the forum. i forget what happened, but i stopped going there (i'm not really fond of that forum >,>), and came here instead when the board was still in it's wee-years and was part of yoshi art.
^^ teh was nice, and helped me establish my account. redyoshi, oh yea, wasn't taken. i quickly changed my name to red.yoshi. ever since that day when my account was created, i was red.yoshi, never changed once /proud ^^. it wasn't until later that the black "tiger like" stripes were trademarked by the "." the blue collar /w the circular tag is my life devoted to electric.yoshi, no matter what.

My old name used to be "yoshilover287" But I changed it because it sounded too generic,bland, and it was more of a club name. And I noticed a thread with Art Sites, that everyone had called themselves a "Yoshi" based on a OC or a character that they drew. So mine is MarikYoshi. And MarikYoshi it will remain. ;D
