Both Walmart and Target are excellent stores. Christmas is this month and I was wondering what you think is the bettrer store to shop at?

I don't have a preference on Walmart or Target. Instead, I typically go to Best Buy or Circuit City for games and such. Best Buy has far better selection, but, if I recall correctly, their pricing isn't as great. Also, never buy a computer from Best Buy. I recall when I bought an HP computer from them, custom-ordered, and they offered to take out HP's advertisement software (which can be removed via Spybot anyway) and it ended up glitching up the computer. My Sound Blaster card would output noise after a MIDI played, so we had to take it out and use the onboard audio. My current computer has a Sound Blaster and seems to be doing fine.

I think this ought to be a poll. I could delete this thread and you can recreate this as a poll in the Poll Vault section if you wish.

Haven't been in a Target much, so I'd have to say Wal-Mart

Target. Because Wal-Mart ruins the economy with its imports from China at underpriced costs. Buy stuff that's made in your own country for once. Jeez.

Wal-Mart, because I work there and I get a 10% discount.

Someone needs to have a talk with Captain Capitalism. Wal-Mart, because it's so huge and cheap and awesome, except for the fact that no Wal-Mart in southern California seems to have employees who speak clear English.

Wal-Mart, because it's 20 miles closer to my house than Target. Not to mention that Wal-Mart is generally cheaper than the only Target in the area as well.

All of my life, me and my family have always called Walmart "Wally World." Just because it makes walmart sound so much better. TRIPLE BONUS MULTIPLIER ! !

Well, sadly, I NEVER been into Target before, no joke, besides, imo, I think Wal Mart's a bit better, since it usually has what I need. ^^

My Wal-Mart Supercenter thing is usually kinda dirty with products out of place, but it does have more selection. And it's literally half a mile from my house. Target is cleaner, though. Target. Because Wal-Mart ruins the economy with its imports from China at underpriced costs. Buy stuff that's made in your own country for once. Jeez. It's way more expensive to manufacture products in the US.

It's way more expensive to manufacture products in the US. But when you buy stuff that's made in the US, you're supporting those smaller buisnesses in the country. Besides, people get shot in the Wal-Marts where I live. It's scary.

I want to sue Walmart for not putting 'WARNING: WET FLOOR' signs where they should. I find them on carpets, but never when you need them. I've had bad experiences with Walmart...
1. Slipped on raw eggs 2. Slipped on water 3. Slipped on orange juice 4. Slipped on water 5. Slipped on a pencil 6. Slipped on water 7. Slipped on sticky soda 8. SLIPPED ON WATER!
All the damn time...
But Target's nice and clean, along with good prices and for me atleast it is close by. :3

Orrr because, in cities like Detroit, getting threatened with a boxcutter to the throat for twenty bux at a gas station is common place. Yes, this has happened to someone I know. In real life. Mexicans also regularly steal really weird things from her -- like the koi in her pond or.. they actually stole the pond's heater once. Also, my brother's bikes always turn up stolen, and his cell phones and even the keys to his house. . . Most wonderful place ever. I once got up to eighteen hobos in Count the Hobo on a twenty minute drive around the city. :l Wal-Mart, by far. Wal-Mar is always low prices, always open, and always close by. =D The close by factor is really important, too since going to a store that's twenty minutes away beats going to a store that's near an hour away (see also: Target). Target has usually had a really poor or identical selection to Wal-Mart, in my experience. And...
My Wal-Mart is a grocery Wal-Mart now. Zoh my God yay.
