Pets can be very very silly.
...
But sometimes they're just plain odd.
Like my cat. Never will you see a cat like him. He is a black cat; which is common. But he has this.. lion mane thing going on. He's a black cat with a red mane. His tounge is also always out. Always.
Now for stupid things he does.
1. He sleeps like a human being. He needs his head to be propped up on a pillow and he lies on his back. He likes it if you put a blanket over him, too.
2. He does not go meow, mew, mrow, mow, ect. He goes "ERRRRRRRRAW!"
3. He has OCD. He has to tap a wall three times; before and after eating. If there is any food on the ground, he will hide it under the carpet. He also puts his toys away in his toy box.
4. He loves goldfish crackers. Like... the ones I eat.
5. His favorite prey is ducks. That are like, twice the size of him.
6. Instead of rubbing against your leg like most cats do; he'll headbutt you. Like, hard enough to make you stumble.
7. He loves cardboard boxes... but he doesn't. It's weird. If he see's one tipped over; he'll go inside it. But then he goes batcrap insane and rips it apart!
8. God forbid he has catnip. He's claw at the carpet, stop and look at the carpet, and repeat. He's, like, amazed by it. Then he's fall to the ground and take a nap.
9. He's as graceful as a grizzly bear. Falls down the stairs, misses his jumps onto the counter, ect. It provides good laughs though.
10. His name is Mr. Man. That, it's self, is odd.

Lol. XD I wish I had a cat like that.
I currently don't have any pets, although I used to have many. They were mostly reptiles like snakes, tortoises, lizards, etc. I even got to hatch baby turtles before X=. I also used to have a black lab, but I was too young to remember. He died when I was three.
My dad, once while working as a tool dealer, was robbed. A man stuck a gun to his head and stole what he had in his pockets. So, my dad decided to get a dog. The first day he bought the puppy on his truck with him, a toolbox fell over and the dog never wanted to get back on his truck.
I guess its not that funny P=.

My dog chased her tail once, spinning faster than I've ever seen something her size spin, eventually getting dizzy and slamming her head against a nearby wall. She stopped chasing her tail after that.
Also she sometimes rubs up against the couch cushions. Like, walks along the floor and rubs her back up against them, snorting and sniffing the whole time. I have no idea why she does this.

My parrot plays fetch. Whenever he sees his reflection, he barfs. He also has this unnatural love for my father.
Crazy bird. He loves giving kisses too.

My pup', Star, loves to pounce on the mail when it comes through the door. She'll stand, sniffing at them, and when you go to pick it up, she fights you for it, literally. She also likes to lie down with her back legs spread out to the sides, it's cute, but surely it must be uncomfortable. She also seems to love grabbing her blanket, drag it through the house until she's in the lounge, then go back, grab our other dog's blanket and bring that one in too. She'll sit and play with them, but 9/10 times she'll just do it for the heck of it.
Cassie, my other dog, is more sensible, but she likes to roll about on the floor after having a nice meal. Rubbing her face off the floor, scratching at her snout, and simply rolling over to rub her back off the floor. Also, because she has a lot of fur around her paws, walking on the kitchen tiles is a must-see for a laugh.

My cat loves to fight. That might not seem like much, but she's older than me and she can still come out better than the other one.

My cat was one of those "Fat Cats". No, not like Garfield, but a big cat. So, he would always manage to climb onto the table and try to make a 3 foot leap form the table and onto the counter. However, he wasn't really "aeronamiclly designed" and woud start to twist in midair and land on his side or even his back sometimes.

I has a bird. I once thought he was a he, but then he laid eggs. And I assume 'he' is a she now...
She also likes to land on peoples heads then fly away again. She is a silly thing. She also likes staring contests. At least with me. XD We'd just start each other down and don't move. Until I like, poke her or something. Then she'll run away. ^_^;; She also has a tendency to fly into my hand when I'm like swinging my arm around. So she'll get hit, run away, and hate me for a while. >_>;;
She also likes my dad a lot. I have no clue why though.

Not exactly what my jack russel terrier does naturally, but I did feed her a Listerine strip once, just placing it on her tongue, and she pretty much stammered across the room, probably feeling extra dizzy.

Though he does growl a bit louder at that point, but we're afraid he won't even move. He just waits for that arrow to fly so he can snap at us. ;D

When my maltese/poodle is really excited, she drags her bum across the ground. =P It's pretty fun to watch, but I think plenty of other dogs do that.
And with my lab/terrier, when you're sitting down and petting her, she likes to shove her head into your stomach, like almost headbutting you. XD It's pretty funny.

Every night my dog eats his dinner, pukes it and eats the puke. I can't stop him and the vet says there isn't anything wrong with my dog - it's just his way. It's really gross.

Haha- our borador Max somersaults on to your lap when he want to be patted. It's kinda strange, because if you're sitting on the couch, he, like, does a jump-somersault type thing and usually misses. He also chases his tail at a wicked pace, catches it, but continues to twirl around in circles with it in his mouth.
And my gecko is obsessed with her reflection. She climbs on top of her favorite branch, and sits there bobbing her head, scratching, and just looking at herself in in the glass. Once I caught her having a staring contest with her reflection in her water bowl.
