Ah yes. Childhood. The time of rainbows and butterflys... which is a good thing unless you're afraid of them. So, since we need more talking, what are some of your childhood fears?
Ladybugs. For some reason, they would always die on my window. Always. Everyday, 30 ladybugs dead. On my window.
Clouds. I always thought they were going to fall out of the sky onto my head.
Cars. I was hit by one. My mom sued and got monies. I'm still afraid to cross the road. I still managed to get hit by another one last year.
Angels. I swear. I was cool with aliens, werewolves, zombies, vampires, demons, and ghosts as a kid, but I was always afraid an angel taking me to heaven. That probably explains why I'm scared of religion and was taken out of Sunday School.
Dopplegangers. Let me explain. I loved ghosts as a kid; I wanted to grow up to be a ghost. So, of course I would buy books on ghosts a lot. So I get this book on different types of ghosts, and dopplegangers freaked me out. Dopplegangers are the idea that there is an exact copy of you made around the time you're going to die. Like a replacement or something. And it said that if you're unlucky, you will see your dopplegangers before you die. I still loved ghosts, but not dopplegangers.

Water areas in video games, dark areas in video games, bugged/excessively jaggy polygons in video games.. Yeah, a bunch of my fears involved video games for some reason, but I was also(and still am) scared to death by bugs.
Of course, I'm not scared of butterflies anymore.

I was pretty much deathly afraid of the dark and being alone in the house at night time. when I was young. I'm sure that's really nothing new...
But there is this one particularly strange (I wouldn't call it this, but for lack of better words) "fear" I've had since childhood that is pretty much the opposite of the fear of heights. I get a bit weirded out when I look at things that are extremely tall near its base or a very high ceiling (hotels, buildings, massive houses, caves, etc.). I was surprised to find out when going into the Luxor for the first time in Las Vegas that it was hollow for the most part, so I can actually see the very top from the inside, and it was high up there. What would really creep me out is if I were to let go a balloon and just have it dangling there from the top of the ceiling.

That and whales.
Whales are too big. They must be stopped.

I thought the orange Nick logo that looked like a pile of orange hay that they showed at the end of cartoons (it wasn't the main logo, just one that haunted the end of the credits) was really, really creepy. I used to run out of the room or bury my head in the couch. I have no idea why that freaked me out so bad.

The 'Flood' From Halo 1/2/3 I was tramatized by the very sight of the first flood on halo1 though I never knew why... I wasonly scared when they were around, I wasn't even bothered by the sight of the 'Hunters' though I screamed at the flood a ran intot he other room... I still shake when every I if see them now, so I think I will never be over this fear... *Sniffs as a tear forms*

People, the dark, angry people, drowning, big houses, "Bloody Mary'', falling, shots (or any other form of getting hurt), and people angry or upset because of me were some of my childhood fears.

I used to get attacked by imaginary aeroplanes when I was a kid.
Don't ask me why. I just did. o.O;

When I was a kid, I used to be scared of the following:
Scissors (Yes, I used to be scared of scissors.) Razors (Probably because I thought they were going to slice my ear off or something) Elevators (No idea why, maybe it was because of that X-Files episode where that man got trapped in one?)

I used to be deathly afraid of Astro Boy cartoons. I have no idea why. The new Anime is cool. That was a weird fear indeed.
Sleeping in my own bed used to freak me out. I had to sleep with my Mum for a long time. That all stopped at about age 6.
At about age 4-9 If my Mum wasn't there exactly as I came out to be picked up after school, I would want to cry and feel scared until she came. I think I felt that she might not ever come. It's strange how much you can mature in a few years. I walk home now. XD
That's about all the major ones. Most of my fears are psychological rather than physical. Spider/ insects/ ghosts etc never really bothered me. Maybe a large spider would startle me, but nothing more. I once had a huntsman on my head. I just brushed it off and got it out of the house. Funny story! XD
