Is there something wrong with us Scots?? XD Well...I'm half. n_n* But still...why whats wrong with being Canadian? <=3 For some bloody reason, EVERYONE misinterpreted that. I haven't talked to anyone who took that the way I wanted them to. What I meant was that I don't call myself Scottish. I don't call myself Irish. I call myself CANADIAN, because that is what I am. Yes, my far, far, irrelevantly distant background is Scottish and Irish, but as for me, the one who's still alive and matters, I am CANADIAN, because I live in Canada. I don't dwell on the uselessly far-back past... I dwell on what matters, and that's that I'm Canadian. You all know what I mean... you ask someone what they are, and they'll say "Jamaican" or "Spanish" or "irish" or "German." ...Well, if you've lived in, oh say, the States all your life, then does any of that REALLY matter to you, is it really that important that you must call yourself as one? Why can't you simply be called an American? This bugs me so because mainly, it makes these Absolutely sovereign and Unified states (The U.S. and Canada, Primarily, but it affects other places as well) seem like just a bunch of random races and different ethnic groups who define themselves totally by that fact and seem to have absolutely no unification under the name of the country in which they've lived their whole lives, likely as well as the generation before them. You know? It makes us sound like a temporary 'gathering place', not a sovereign state of our own. We just sound like a useless little place which doesn't matter enough to have our own identity. Like, of course there's exceptions to this, such as if someone recently immigrated ot Canada or something, or if you literally live where you say you're from. But come on people, if you live in Canada, you're a Canadian. Plain and simple. If you live in the States, you're an American. Not like I'm trying to say "Totally forget your background and heritage and adopt a bland new way of the future!", I'm just trying to say that you shouldn't base your identity on a past that is both long gone and forgotten to the point of having little to no relevance to your personal life. So... yeah.

I know i'm American, Graedius. I was just stating what different ethnicities i have in my blood. I'm not basing myself off the fact that i have Spanish, Chinese, Swedish, and Australian in my blood. I know those are long gone. I'm just saying that it's in my blood.

I have some Scottish, English, Welsh, Irish, and even some German background. I probably have more that I can't think of offhand... suffice to say, I'm a mutt. But a Canadian mutt. :3

Lol, I HAVE to explain my heritage all the time. I have just about one of the craziest last names you've ever heard of, and I can 100% guarantee you have never heard of it.

50% Japanese and 50% American. The thing is, I don't have the narrow eyes like every other asian person... so people never believe me when I say I'm Japanese.

You don't teach me... You help me when I need it. Even if I don't =/ But anyways. Sometimes I could need a TRUE english teacher! Not a guy who speak french 80% and add french in his english sentences...

I guess I'm a foreigner since I live in the USA. Then again, it depends on what you mean by foreigne. If you live in Canada, Brazil, ect, then I'd be considered a foreigner. But if you live in the US, especially in my state or hometown, then you might mot be a foreigner to me. FYI (for your information) I live in Phoenix, Arizona.
