I just wouldn't really expect anybody to actually agree with me on that.

Well, I AM the Dev-- Ah- I mean...
I think it's kinda weird, but I'm right-handed and think it boring. And happen to know a lot of people who are left-handed. Meh, I dunno.

I would say you two are exaggerating at least a little I use a different word to describe my left-handedness: "abnormal", instead of "special". And it ain't all that nice when someone comes up to me and says "Wow, you're left-handed? I didn't know!", because it makes me feel as if that person feels I am odd for being like this.

Ehh... I still think it's cool. ;D At least I wouldn't downgrade being left-handed as "abnormal" since that sounds somewhat deragatory already, even if it doesn't mean that way. And don't feel odd if someone is remotely surprised that you're left-handed. Some people would go to me and say, "Wow! You're Filipino? I would've never suspected." Even AFTER viewing a picture of me. I don't feel odd about that. I kind of find it a bit funny . (In my opinion, I don't think I look like ANYTHING XD).

Well, being left-handed makes me feel abnormal, which is why I use that word to describe it. Why does everyone want to be something that they cannot be? My grandfather has always wanted to be German (and he even learned to speak German!), and I would like to be Japanese, and you want to be left-handed! Why are we humans like this? Always desiring the impossible...

Hey, I'm part German . And I don't think being left-handed from naturally born/raised right-hand-dominant is impossible. What if my right arm were to be lopped off? I guess I have no choice . Also, I remember years ago seeing on that one Guiness World Records on TV where this one person from India was able to write with both hands and feet simultaneously (before that, he could write with both hands and his mouth and his ear (don't ask)). He said all it took was lots of practice, and you can achieve. Coincidently, that wasn't what inspired me to wanting to become ambidextrous, since I remember seeing that years ago, and I've only decided to go on this ambi-journey back in October, but it's still a great thought that it's very possible.

Hehehe, you know, about 56% of all typing is done with the left hand. Just look at the left side of your keyboard. A lot of important letters are there . It was made like that for a reason that escaped my mind... (I believe it was done so that it would slow down most typists to avoid mistakes, correct me if I'm wrong).

You cannot "choose" to be better at writing with a different hand than you've always used. It's not a matter of how you were raised, it's a matter of how your brain is built. It IS possible for you to improve your writing skills with your left through practice, but I guarantee you will never be as good as with your right. My father partially lost control of his right arm after a brain disease, and so he had to learn to write with his left. After many years of practicing, he can now write well but it takes him a lot longer and his writing looks slightly worse than before he got sick.

people who were left handed 20 years ago are now mostly ambidexturus since the nuns (Teachers) used to make you wright with your right hand. if you didnt, theyd smack your left hand, and repeat the process until you started writing with the right. talk about harsh
