I used to draw yoshi in the normal way with the round nose and shoes and the saddle (not in the pic..i think.......oO) im never showing those pictures unless you wanna see how much i sucked when i was 5-7 years old so this picture will do (its in celshading it sucks i know)  |

As for me, I never drew Yoshi when I was little, he was pretty much nonexistant in those days. Plus, back then I didn't have any interest in Yoshi. I became interested in him when Smash Brothers came out.

And I won't lie to you, guys. I've loved Yoshi since 1991 Super Mario World, but somewhat forgot about him until I found a little quiz LunaYoshi made a couple years back, and I totally fell in love with Yoshi again. (But I'm not sure if LunaYoshi's quiz was the exact catalyst. I may have loved him again before that) Anyway, I drew Yoshi for the first time only in January 2003. I drew three little doodles in my chemistry class, and they were absolutely HORRIBLE.
The very next time I drew (EVER) was more than 6 months later, when I drew the crappy Yoshi Bowling picture that's on my website. But back in January, that's when I first saw Yoshiart.com for the first time because a friend saw my obsession and linked me to that website. And that's when I first realized the concept of making Yoshi into art for myself.

I've also loved Yoshi ever since SMW first came out.
I remember the very first time I drew Yoshi. I was about 4 or 5 and we were on our flight to the US.

I drew Yoshi as he actually is 3 times... And the rest was some mix. Draculoshi was one of them and the most used of all.

What I understood is that back then she used to draw in this style, but that this particular drawing is only a recent recreation of that style, since she considers that the original ones suck.
I don't think it sucks...

i didnt draw this when i was 5-7 if i did i'd be a detail freak by now but i hate details so im not i did this a couple of days ago trying to imitate my old style and add some features i do now ;D

My yoshi fanaticism, my first yoshi artwork, everything that is related to Yoshi in my life, happened in this year.
The hylian sages informed me about this great event on this year, I saw that I'm a little fish here...

Really love the oldskool yoshi.. Reminds me alot of the new yoshi look on the cover of the super mario world remake for gba. |
