Yeah, nothing special here or themed here. First time I've drawn the little guy since Yoshi's Story was released and I'm not a frequent drawer so be gentle. I've done both pics with just about all the official Yoshi colours as well, but no sense posting all of 'em.

Wow, those are really amazing! I looove these pictures!! ;D Honestly, I love plain Yoshis! They aren't embodied by anybody else but themselves. They remind me of completely pure Yoshis. Hehe, if I draw like Yoshi's Island style, then you draw just like Mario Party for GameCube style or something. Heheh.

Oh wow, those are awesome! ;D They look so official. Reminds me a whole lot of Mario Golf on the GameCube. That shading is excellent and great choice of background.

lol, well, thanks very much for the kind and positive words folks. ^_^ Way more than I'd expected. Yeah, I definitely try to duplicate the look Nintendo themselves currently use for Yoshi. CG and in game. The differences are pretty straight forward, practically no neck, a bit more chubby, only three spikes all on the back of the head, tend to stand up straight etc Mainly for the reason that it just looks that little bit more cute to me. Especially after seeing his little victory dance in Mario Kart DD. Anyway, only program I used was photoshop 7. Drew the pic, scanned it then just coloured it in photoshop. Most time consuming part was probably drawing the grass in photoshop but I'm quite chuffed with the effect. Thanks again everyone

Hey, these are just great. The original yoshi, its nice to see a pic of him again!! I have to say, I really like the second one alot. The eye expression is just so happy looking, and it makes me happy looking at it, lol. Your first picture is great too, and the grass is nicely drawen in the second picture. I really like the colorful letters you did in the word Yoshi too. Keep it up, I want to see more of your art work.

Actually, those two are of you. ;D I grabbed one of your pics to match up the colours. Its only a dozen clicks lol. Its a bit darker than the normal light blue/cyan but still barely a minute to do.

Wow, what true talent! That is like the best pure Yoshi masterpieces I have ever seen ! The colors are so brilliant and the effects are phenomenal! Wow, Yoshi looks like a real figure with the 3-D shape you gave him. Excellent, marvelous work BryUK! I hope to see more art submissions from you! ;D

Did you manually copy/past the whole line into the URL bar? Because of the bracket the whole link isn't active if you just click it. I'll have a go at editing that now Edit: All sorted now Looks more tidy as well.

I recognize those exact poses from Mario Golf Toadstool Tour The grass you drew is very neat, it shows you put the smudge tool to good use.

lol, told you I wasn't very good. I really doubt the first one is exact as its based on a pose that's flashed for barely a second from a different angle, but given my skill level, I actually take it as a great compliment that you'd say that. ^_^
