Hi! It's another foresty scene... kinda. I hope you're not sick of 'em yet, 'cause I like making 'em.

I don't know if it reads as well I'd intended at the beginning, but the green Yoshi is trying to wade in the creek, which is very cold. The other two have simply decided not to.
Hmm... the water's a little murky.

Wow.. just had to comment on this. Scenery is truly beautiful.. We'll never get sick of it. Expression on the green yoshi is priceless as well.. It's like the same expression I make when I try to dip my feet into the pool. Keep it up!

That background is unbelievable!! How many hours did you use for this pic? I don't think I can visualize such a forest scene out of thin air. The trees are excellently done, they are simple and yet GREAT looking. And I like the leaf floating on the water, and the moss/ferns growing on the fallen tree... And that rock wall looks pretty realistic and credible. That river must be carrying spring water It's real hard to simplify a forest scene down to where it becomes feasible to draw, while still keeping it looking great. I've never done a finished forest scene (I think? lol ) because I can never add a satisfying amount of detail (although I've done several very rough sketches of Yoshis in forests...). Maybe I should try doing a forest scene, with cute wild Yoshis... ^^ Although it's not very likely as I have very little time now =(

Oh, this is a very beautiful picture, Fifth. I love the shading and how you can see the green Yoshi's feet in the shallow end.

This is great work Fifth, really, its better then great! I'm not tired of these Forset seenes at all, and I sure hope your not, because it will be nice to see another one. I like how the light blue yoshi is relaxing in a laying like position, I can't remember ever seeing a yoshi in that position, and it looks just great like that. I also like how you can see the Green Yoshis feet in the shallow water, nice effect. And the yellow one looks so happy. Really nice background too Fifth.

I can only stare dumbfounded. But the Yellow yoshi looks like he dared the green one or something. Well, at least they're having good fun! And how do you do those backrounds? Freehand?
