The reason i keep coming on here late is because the fan in my dads computer keeps on jaming and thats why i'm on here late ( some times i have to shut it down just in case it jams and blows up the computer) My dad will have to get a new fan or that rubber stuff to keep it going (we think its the fan anyway 'cause of what it sounds). My dad right now is useing a big fan,he opend the side of the computer (so the air can cool the computer off in side). So thats why 'am some times late in here.... (Just so you all know whay i come and go on here alot )

There's no possible way for your computer to explode. there's nothing explosive in a computer, monitor or tower... You'd be surprised, Graedius... If you have a 300watt power supply, and you have more than the usual amount of components in your system (Like 4 hard drives, 7 fans and numerous lights) you're power supply will go MEGA BANG! There are components in there called 'Capacitors' and they do have a tendency to 'pop' in extreme conditions. Also, being transferred to a very warm environment from a cold storage room, can cause your PSU(Power Supply Unit) to 'POP' too... The extreme humidity change does it... Edit: There are some exceptions in the event you're drawing too much power from the supply with all you're 4 hard drives, light, etc... Some PSU's are Thermally protected so if you 'overload' them, they will just shut off for around 2-20 minutes depending on the severity of the overload... And the processors themselves don't go bang, they melt. Apart from the PSU, nothing will go bang on a computer.(Unless you put an explosive charge in it, which I really wouldn't recommend unless being supervised by experienced stuntmen and have paramedics on standby...)

Grad reckons there are no parts in a computer that cannot blow up...
There aren't, apart from the power supply and that wouldn't blow-up in normal circumstances.
I've had a couple blow up in the past. They don't blow up and destroy everything on your desk, they just make a loud pop noise.

I agree that it'd be cool to see a computer blow up, just not mine anyway. Glad to see you got it fixed. By the way, I saw this on a show once, a cd lights up like crazy when being nuked in a microwave... I wouldn't try it at my house though.
