Why do people always say that? Are we all forgetting about Salvador Allende's Marxist regime in Chile from 1970 - 1973? The only reason it ended was because it went against all the anti-communist policies of the americanised fascists during the cold war. But now the cold war has ended, the Americans aren't likely to care that much.
