Do you think the Yoshis are all calles just "Yoshi"? I don´t think so. So i thougt about what their names could be.
I think its like this:
Green Yoshi: Yoshi (of course)
Red Yoshi: Red
Yellow Yoshi: Sunny
Blue Yoshi: sady (because he is always sad)
Pink Yoshi: Pinky
Violett/purple Yoshi: Lilly (i have to explain: i come from germany. and purple is called lila in german)
Brown Yoshi: Choco
White Yoshi: Bianca
Black Yoshi: Nero
Orange Yoshi: Goldy
What do you think about it?

I believe each yoshi has his or her own name, two yoshis of the same colour won't be named the same all the time, it may happen but it's not an obligation, though I always figured I'd end in "shi"... probably becuase the only other Yoshi with a name was Boshi from SMRPG (that I can think of). Hence Burushi and Kiiroshi were born (man, I gotta get back into writing that fic...)

Hm..I always just assumed it was tradition to the Yoshies to have those "-shi" names..Although I wouldn't be surprised if they had names such as:
(These are all for just some random yoshies..except the first one.)
Green Yoshi=Yoshi
Red Yoshi=Magnadrigon
Yellow Yoshi=Solari
Blue Yoshi=Neodrigon
White Yoshi=Lunatio
Black Yoshi=Xeviou
Brown Yoshi=Terratian
Orange Yoshi=Edain
But hey, that's just my opinion..I like the names though. Hands off Magnadrigon and Neodrigon though, my friend thought those up, and would flip if he found out I used 'em..otherwise, go nuts with the others!

But how many Yoshis do exist? I always thougt, there are only the ones from "Yoshis Island" and "Yoshis Story". Oh, and I never saw a orange Yoshi before. In wich game can you see him?  |

Many many Yoshies exist, you just only see a few in the games. And I'm not sure if you see the orange or brown ones in Yoshi's Island, but you DO see an orange one in Paper Mario 1, and in Paper Mario:The Thousand-Year Door! *gringrn*

The brown Yoshi can be seen in "Yoshis Island" in Level 1-6. Also he is in every 6th level.
And I remember, the orange Yoshi can be seen in "Super Mario Sunshine" on Pina Island.

Huh, I think all Yoshies have different names. I'm green, but my name definitely isn't 'Yoshi'. We all have different names, don't we? I mean, say pink's name is 'Bob' and red's is 'Fred'. There's a herd of pink Yoshies, and red's looking for his friend. "Hey, Bob!" He shouts, then EVERY SINGLE PINK YOSHI TURNS and shouts, "What, Fred?" Veeeerrrry confusing.
