Just a pic I did of yoshi, lookin down below from a lift. I tried some more of my art equipment which ain't been used for years! (probably the pictures downfall ) any way, the outline was done with pure graphite, the colouring, green colouring pencil and oil pastel to try and smoothen the texture of the colour.

Pastels win.
I like the shading job and the angle a lot. It looks excellent. The proportions, the angle, the perspective, everything is neat.
Is the lift supposed to be an irregular trapeziod-shape? Makes it look uneven... Is the Yoshi supposed to be shocked (implied by the title), or fascinated (implied by his expression)?

The irregularness? It's called perspective and yes the yoshi is s'posed to be shocked (hence the title)

Very Nice! I like the brightness near the nose and the front fingers. The perspective is perfect. Great job.

Oooooo... this one's neat! The roundness of his nose and head is a good way to go! I should try that... I always mess up getting the exact yoshi shape... whenever I do try...
Well in the end, I like this pic! Matured art supplies seem to work for you...

Ooh, nice! I like the softness. And the coloring really reminds me of the Yoshi's Island style.

Pretty cool! I like the pose. You did a very good job using all that different art equipment, the colors are great. This was a very good idea for a pic! Awesome Job!

I am still amazed at the angle. *-* I fail when it comes to angles. D: The yellow shine makes it all better and I just want to stare at it. *-*
