Yeah, this was an idea that came into my head from something i imagined. I was laid in bed this morning listening to Powerman 5000 - When Worlds Collide on my iPod while chatting to Max Andershi on my mobile, and i was imagining a video, of the Rockin' Yoshi's all in this dark gear, and i found Toshi's to be the best looking one, so i attempted to draw it, which i did, and i managed... i rule. =3

He looks like a Vampire Slayer, sort of similar to Blade from the Blade series, others would argue that he looks like Neo from The Matrix, others might just not think at all, but regardless, they're all wrong suggestions to what he is. He's just a ranger attempting to prevent these worlds from colliding into each other, one possesses some sort of alien race which would overrun our world if they managed to get here, so that's what their job was in the video i was imagining.

Anyway, i was gonna clean the pic up as it looks dull, but i then realised that i'm a lazy bugger, so the case was closed on that one.

It's nice to see the whole Yoshi come out on this one. That's great.
It would certaintly add a lot of feeling to the picture if you colored it or something.
I like the pose; that's something new as well. The clothing fits awesomely.

His nose is a little droopy, though. Were you trying to make him look down more?

We should have expected so from Toshi the Magnificent.

The things I would like to comment on are first of all, how you drew the jacket. I like the jacket, it gives him a mysterious, dark look, but doesn't cover the whole yoshi, leaving enough bare to show that he is indeed a yoshi. And his pose! He looks like he could jump ten feet in the air and come down without shifting his legs in any way. And the weaponry... that isn't some crappy gun someone who makes stick figures draw, that thing looks like it can SHOOT!! And the sword is just awesome, the shape, the way it's held, WOW.

And if I didn't press it enough, WOW!

Ah, this looks pretty cool. And an actual pose !

With some crisp lineart on it and colour this would look pretty fancy. But there are a few things that annoy me about it, namely the positioning of his left foot, which personally I think would look better turned inwards, and his sword arm looks like it would be a lot longer if it were held straight, like his left arm. Nothing that couldn't easily be fixed if you were to CG the lines for this, but thats just my opinion :B

But yeah I know you didn't ask for critique but its an addiction :< Heavy / sketchy looking lines and block shading (which I understand is pure black, or some other colour) would really make this look cool. At least, the way I imagine it it'd look good D:

I noticed those little problems too, didn't wanna say anything just to see if anyone noticed (no, it's not because i never knew beforehand =P).

Ooh, cooool~ He's ready for le action. I think everyone else pretty much covered what I was going to say. XD Coloration makes the world go 'round.

The coat reminds me of Neo, but then the glasses-shade things remind me of that one blind guy from Star Trek: Next Generation, for some odd reason. :B

Nothing like tennis shoes for kicking alien behinds.
