Having not done anything in Photoshop for so rediculously long, I totally forgot how to color, and this just came out of frustration. This is really embarassing...

I LIKES IT!! I wish thing slooked like that for me when I forget how to color! On a more artistic note: I like the use of yellow and purple instead of just pain ol' white and black... it gives it a cooler feel.

you forgot how to colour? you excpect us to beleive that? D= I don't even know how to colour it like that, but you seem to of gotten the hang of it, for some one who forgot ^^ You got the angle set down perfectly and all, and the shading's very well done. As Sirghe said using purple and yellow instead of just darkening the colour bit by bit is deffinetly the way to go. nice work

Kweh! Reminds me of watercoloring. Really cool, I don't think you've lost any of your coloring experience.

If you forgot how to color, then I forgot how to breath. *checks* Nope, still breathing. The coloring makes it so super purdy. C: The cuteness burns me! D: Tell me your secrets. >>

Similar to what I said at YA... I don't recall ever seeing a yoshi's face in that position before, you did it very well. All the colors and outlines seem to be fine to me. I really like the Nintendo style you put in all of your work. It's a very cute pic. Awesome Job!

It's kind of hard, and I'm still trying out to do new things.

If I have any critique to give on this, it's that the Yoshi's nose doesn't seem to come upward enough. You can see his eyes too well when there should at least be an outline of his nose in there or something. Do you get what I'm trying to say? XD
Your coloring style rocks. It's not quite the same as what you used to do, but it's still better than what I could pull off. The yellow-to-blue-to-purple colors do give it a water color-y feel, though.

I have to argue that Yoshee, it looks kinda cute that way!
Photoshop is teh best program for this kind of thing. Look at all the people who use MS paint teh, and reflect on how lucky you are...
...by the way... what version of photoshop are you using?

as I said on YA, it looks flawless. If you said that you couldn't color, then what CAN you do!? I can't imagine the graphical detail on something when you're on target. Now THAT'LL be the perfect drawing.

I didn't know what else to do, I tried so many times on making the nose appear more outwards. I blame the nostril placement, maybe?

I don't think coloring is what you forgot... I personally like the shading style on this. Colorful and texturised, yo. I think the little yellow reflection of the boot on the yoshi's shins is a pretty nifty thing to add, too. ^^ However... The anatomy is funky. The nose is in a weird position for how the pose seems to be built -- the nose should look more like it's angled upwards. At least I think that's what you were trying, right? To show that better, the outline of the nose could be continued on at the left side -- having it cover the bottoms of the yoshi's eyes. I'm not sure if this was the angle you were intending, but the position the nosrils may be better off placed to the right a bit so that the nose seems to be angled more to our right as opposed to our left, but it's not so bad where it is now. Lessee here... Very nice hand anatomy, thee. Hands give me quite the hassle, but you've pulled them off very nicely here. Oh! It's a bit of a minor thing considering the yoshi seems to be the main focus here, however, the egg just.. doesn't match up. For instance, the lines on the top of the egg don't match up with the outline of the egg under the yoshi's nose -- gives the egg a bit of a warped look. ^^; The yoshi's neck strikes me as odd for some reason.. but I could very well be imagining that; it just seems quite linear instead of curved -- but I don't really use a yoshi's island style too much, so I could be wrong there. On a final note about the anatomy, the yoshi's spines look just a tad odd; the way their size changes suggests the last spike is a whole lote bigger than the others, although it is quite possible that was intended for perspective or character-style reasons. But the critting is just suggestions, there. 'Member that, and I might even be way off on parts. XD; I think your anatomy is still pretty good, regardless of how long the suggestions paragraph was. I'd redline it myself to see if my suggestions are all that great, but school computer lab and all. ; Overall, I do like this picture. :3 The colorfulness and initial impression makes me enjoy looking at it. And no worries, if it's any consolation, I think you color quite well. Especially considering how long you seem to be without Photoshop. It's a nice, newish, and fresh coloring style from you. And the cuteness of the yoshi is done quite well here. Keep eet up. Also, ~Kicks the Mac computer that one is stuck using for this class.~
