As soon as I started this I knew it was doomed to failure! I'm aware the painting's shoddy, so don't nag about it www.deviantart.com/deviation/39719633/so yeh this is my first yoshi sculpture EVER done with magic of sculpey (seriosly that stuff rocks so much it ain't funny D= ) I did the water melon greeeeen, so I tried doing a different coloured yoshi, (red's been done, yellows may of spoilt it :\ ) so I went with blue being the only other colour I had left.

Like I said before, It's super. Even if the pictures didn't come out that well the yoshi still looks great.

Hee hee... that came out rather well, sculpey seems to work for most people here.
The eyes turned out great, and the way you combined the mouth and eyes gives the yoshi a voice, and that voice says: "Oooooooooohhh..." in only the cutest of ways. I admire this project greatly, it turned out awesome. I could never properly picture a yoshi to be placed in such a pose...

That expression wins, haha.
It does look a little lumpy in places, but you could probably smooth those out better if the sculpey wasn't already baked, haha.
I like how dark the coloring is; too dark is way better than too light. The proportions are beautiful, and the whole pose is great. Keep up the great work!

it's actually a little lighter than it is in the pictures (my webcam doesn't pick up so much light on the subject >< ) But thanks so far for the positive comments, they've certainly inspired me to to make another one.....eventually... I don't mind a little C+C either, so don't hold back ^^,

It's NOT a failure, as a matter of fact I like it very much. The watermelon was also a nice touch, you should make another one sometime.
