I have some info about Yoshi Lore and its admin, "Yellow Yoshi" that you may or may not know about. I don't know how many of you have befriended him or at least spoken to him, but you'll be surprised after you read this. This is a true story and is NOT exaggerated.
You see, "Yellow Yoshi" is a young kid who thinks that everything on the internet is free. You may have not noticed, but he stole approximately 90 files from my site and placed them for download at his site, without ever asking for permission. (He even had the NERVE to write on his site that he does have permission!!) He stole wavs, mp3s, images, videos, info... I told him many times to remove them, but his answer was always a resounding "No" because he thinks that I no longer have any rights over those files (which I created in the first place) because other sites are also using them (according to him). WTF?! He even went as far as taking off my credits from the files that had them!! (If you open my animated yoshi gifs in notepad, you will see a notice that says "by yoshiruferrari@hotmail.com, www.yoshiart.com/"; He took that off!!!). These files did not exist on the internet before I came in and created them. The Yoshi wav files for example. I recorded those from the SSB sound test menu in Project64 one by one. He has stolen those too. I made ALL of the Yoshi's Island animated gifs I have by capturing each frame by hand and then compiling the frames into an animation, all only to have this moron come in and take them for his own benefit and against my will.
Here is one of his excuses for not removing my content:
"what content am I using from your site, besides the sounds, that are already spread all over the internet in thousands of sites, and impregned to Kazaa?"
According to this self-righteous, retarded kid (Yellow Yoshi), this makes it legal for him to use my files without authorization. The fact that the files are being used by other people does not change the fact that I created those files and that I don't allow other Yoshi sites to use them. I usually allow sites that are not related to Yoshi to use my files (as long as they are NOT hot-linked), but Yoshi Lore is a DIRECT competitor to my site and so I can't allow it to use my files under any circumstances.
Can you believe that he once accused me of being arrogant for asking for a free 2-day trial of his site ads? This happened back when we used to talk to each other peacefully. He offers ads at his site, and I became interested in having one. But I had no way of verifying how many hits I would get from it. So I asked for a free trial that would last for just a couple of days (2 days). He then told me it was very arrogant and selfish of me to ask for such a thing. (nothing like insulting your own customers hmm?) You go reason with him about my content and basically he's gonna say I'm selfish for wanting to claim my own content because other people are also using it (RIDICULOUS!!). Note that before I asked for the free trial, he told me this:
"PS. Feel free to change the deals around a little if you don't like them, and then let me know and I'll see if I agree."
And he still had the nerve to insult me. Now, who would want to talk to such a troubled person? I mean, if he doesn't like my deals, why doesn't he just say "no"? Why does he have to call me arrogant, selfish, etc.?
He is, in a word, a thief.
And he's also disgustingly greedy. Do you know why he wants to make his site more popular by stealing content off other sites, including mine? It's so that more people will click on his ads. So this way, he is effectively using MY work to his advantage and to my loss, as I also run ads on my site. He even goes as far as lying about his traffic! He claims he gets 400-500 visitors a day, and his counter "appears" to suggest so, but most people don't notice that he has the exact SAME counter on every one of his site's pages. This way he adds 1 to the counter for every single page accessed, and not just for the main page. So not only does he fool his own advertising customers, but he also tries to make his site seem a lot more popular than it really is. Have a look:

Here are just a few of the files that Yellow Yoshi copied off my site and that he refused to remove. If it weren't for me, none of these files would exist!! (I scanned all the images, took all the screenshots, built all the animations, and recorded all the audio files in this list!):

And that's not all. Yellow Yoshi not only steals other people's work; He also threatens people not to use stuff from his site, and if they do he will "sue" them; What the hell is going on in this idiot's head?! I don't know, do you?
He ALSO blatantly rewrote/copied MY Yoshi facts and posted them at his site (and also combined them with other facts from elsewhere). You can see my original facts here (at Teh Yoshi's site):

Of course, he did all that without telling me first. After knowing all this, it's easy to find this FAQ (from Yellow Yoshi's FAQ page) completely laughable:

A. Uniqueness is the key in becoming popular. That's why Yoshi is so popular! I try to not get ideas from any other sites, because it is pointless to cover info another site already covers. Of course, I cover basic stuff that all sites usually cover, such as info on games. But the info I cover is totally up to me. I always make a unique layout, and try to get as much unique information and screenshots as possible. But it's not always possible. For example, every site lists the same release dates for a game. But besides stuff like that, I try to be as original as possible. I'm not saying those sites stole my ideas either. I'm sure it's possible to come out with similar ideas than another person.
Yet even more funny is the following FAQ:
Q. Is Yoshi Lore copyrighted to where if someone steals your content, that you can press charges on them?
A. Well, think about it. Do you think I'd take the risk of someone stealing ALL the content of Yoshi Lore and me not being to do anything? Of course not! Yoshi Lore is copyrighted 100%, and I can sue anyone who steals any content from Yoshi Lore. So now you know, don't steal anything, because I find out, you will get in trouble!
So he has effectively copyrighted my content to himself, while thinking he's doing the right thing. Of course, we all know that this is BS. Don't be afraid of him, he can do no more than send you harassing emails telling you to remove "his" stuff, which isn't even his in the first place. Sure, I'd love to see this 13-year-old sue me, particularly since it is required to be of legal age to place a suit...
Have you seen the Super Mario Episodes at his site? Those were recorded years ago by a person named "Danny Asherman". Danny's site used to be at www.frazled.com/~danny/~fmario.htm, but is now gone. So obviously Yellow Yoshi used this to steal the files and claim them as his. And yes, you guessed it, he also took off (or simply didn't mention) Danny's credits. Have a good laugh at his FAQs that deal with these episodes:
Q. Where do you get the Super Mario TV Show downloads, can I use them on my site?
A. You can find the Super Mario TV Show downloads in the Super Mario TV Show section. And, absolutely, you may not use the downloads in your site. The Great Yoshi recorded them a long time ago, and gladly submitted them to Yoshi Lore, and he only wants Yoshi Lore to use them. He wants his E-mail to stay anonymous.
Q. What site do you get the Super Mario World episodes from and if you have to ask for permission first can I get the episodes from that site cause I don't want to wait until you put all of them up 1 by 1 every day.
A. First of all, I didn't get them from any site. Yoshi Lore is probably the only web site in the World Wide Web (WWW) that has them. The Great Yoshi recorded them when they were being aired, and gladly submitted them to Yoshi Lore. He wants his E-mail to remain anonymous. And the downloads are here for the sole purpose of other people being able to watch those long-gone cartoons. Not for you to steal them and use them on your website!
He already knows that the videos belong to Danny Asherman, because I personally told him, a long time ago. And as one would expect, he didn't change the credits accordingly, given his thief nature... Many of his other FAQs are also ridiculous.
Here are a few really good examples of sentences that clearly tell us that Yellow Yoshi has mental problems:
"And, if you don't want me to reply, then just don't reply to me. I'm not foolish enough to let you be the last person to insult me. That, again, is common sense that you obviously lack."
"My email's personal stuff, that only can read. Post it, and I'll sue you. And believe me, I DO have the means to do it... I'm not trying to scare you, I'm just warning you..."
"I've blocked your IP, so theres nothing to worry about"
Oh and don't ever give Yellow Yoshi advice or tips on how he can improve his site (or improve in anything for that matter), because he will take them very offensively, EVEN if you make him promise not to take them offensively before you tell him. He is just way too proud of his poorly-engineered site (ever noticed how slow it is? In most computers it is).

. (Besides, being caught up in somebody else's business like that seems a bit immature to me) I really don't want to get caught up with this creepy guy and his pseudo-threats of suing madness, which I would SIMPLY LOVE to see in action XD.
(Or maybe give him heaven or something since Yoshi Lore seems to be the devil and all... You know... yeah...)
. And yes, he was a greedy little snobby rich child who's better than everyone and will stop at nothing to make sure it is so.
