I know someone ay YL who was just added to the staff... ...I don't think she can control the whole site, but maybe something could be done.

I guess Yellow Yoshi would immediately take her power away were she to use it against him. What we can do is tell his current staff members about what their "boss" is really like, so that maybe some of them will leave in disgust.

Just make sure there is no way to get sued over this... ...especially if hes just some rich kid. I'm on your side ys.

I did, but his host backed him because he's benefiting from y.y.'s site. His host is www.staghosting.com. I can still try things here, but I found a better solution that I love and that is going to benefit me, which is to copy his site. ;D

That would be a LAN IP. The IP used for internet browsing is a WAN IP. If I try to connect to 192.168.0.100, I'll never reach you because it is an IP range reserved for local networks. Just trying to help...

Make a new E-mail address and message on a library computer and keep it annonymous. The IP can't be tracked, because it will track another one.

The foolish little kid doesn't know that my internet connection, by its very nature, has a different IP every day. Which is why I used that phrase, the one that says "there's nothing to worry about", as proof that he's mad. hehee...

I know the message borad we can warn yoshi fans at. Its called The NeverEndingStory, and its at YL. The people who go there are just plain yoshi fans (and there's one staff member who goes there alot too, she is the one I know) I will email her now, and tell her I can't go to yoshilore anymore because I wont go to a site that belongs to a greedy, 13 year old rich boy who is a thief! Glad that we're clear on that. Like I said at the bottom of that long post, I don't approve of idle threats or insults.

There is no way he can sue. Not because of his age or money but because of what a lot of the actual content is. And just by going through the legal process Nintendo would be informed and that's when things would become far more dangerous for everyone involved in a deadly serious kind of way.

Try not to abuse the board to any significant extent, because then they will want to do the same here. Instead of posting a thread, I would prefer that you try what I just sent you via IM. for me, it is more than appreciated that you just tell this to your friends, which in turn will do the same with their own friends. Aha, FAQ's, newsposts and such.. that's a completely dfferent beast.
Actually, those FAQ writers would be fully justified (and capable) of taking legal action against him. They are original documents and have not just been taken without permission, but even been altered so as to claim legitimacy. (yeah, I know its very unlikely to come to that. But while "YellowYoshi" doesn't have a leg to stand on, the FAQ writers do)

I'd imagine you already will have, but if you haven't, I'd recommend letting the faq writers know their file is being used and get them involved..

He made the pictures.. drew them by hand.. coloured them.. the only thing copryrighted from nintendo is the character itself in the pictures. We are talking about Souls art and not the official yoshi art right? Btw.. is this character, yellow yoshi.. stealling all your pics? (even those made of you) sorry just making sure.. if i've missed any information answering to this question please ignore it, (btw about that lan ip... i have one of those routers who assign Local area network ip adresses on my pc, basicly it's a router which thinks it's a Lan. Hmm, I hate the main Yoshi Lore site anyway and I never go on there EVER. I stopped submitting my yoshi movies there long ago.

But I go on the forums a lot. It's OK there, even though Yellow yoshi governs quite an oppressive dictatorship there and he never listens to any of the members' oppinions. I don't like Yellow Yoshi but the forums are nice.

One of the best things I've ever found to cut back on picture theft is putting your signature somewhere where it will be impossible to remove without a copy of photoshop, like in the full version of my avatar (http://darkut.free.fr/Artwork/Darkmark/Pictures/Neo_Countershade.jpg), but that's not always possible with certain pictures.

If I were you, I'd inform the owners of all the stolen material (like the FAQs) that they're having their stuff stolen by this guy.

Yeah, but you can still doctor it to such an extent its hardly noticable. The best and most effective way to get noticed, is to change all your image files to one saying 'I STOLE THIS IMAGE FROM YOSHI ART.COM'.

I had searched for new sites to go to and I came up with some yoshi sites and got a few answers. Some were restaurants and studios, but yoshi lore was rated the best yoshi fan site.

I remember when I didn't know what stealing files was. I stole a yoshi story. I know, I'm ashamed. Eventually I said where I got it when I figured what stealing was.

And I don't think you can be sued for stealing work. It costs nothing, but time, to make a site so if you're caught stealing, your site is just shut down. Correct me if I'm wrong. But innapropriate sites should be sued.

I wasen't talking about him taking his art, I meant the pics that were screen capped or scanned.
