I discovered something amazing the other day: Goggles and yoshies mix very well together. I also realized I hadn't drawn my yoshi in a while and I also realized that he has yet to have a distinguishing piece about him. So I put all those things together and I came up with the new design for my yoshi!! In case anyone didn't already know his name is Raz and yes that's right, he now comes with goggles!! =3 I really didn't feel like a background for this one because I need to dedicate my extra time more towards finishing requests and gifts for others. Hey, the new look's pretty cool. Yes, the goggles are a very nice addition. I do have a bit of critique. I think the arms should sit a little further up on the body, a little more closer to the neck. But yeah. To add, your style is pretty cute looking.

The shading is nice, and the shiny effect on the goggles looks accurate.
The goggles seem too small for your eyes. And I agree with Yonie on the fact that your arms seem too far down your body. And what's his chest doing that far out?
Great job otherwise; it's a good look.

The goggles seem too small for your eyes. I don't think the goggles are meant to be worn over his eyes. Goggles of any type actually worn on the eyes don't look so appealing, but they look different when worn on the neck or on the head. I Don't expect him to cover his eyes with them so that's why I think the normal size ones should be fine. |
