www.deviantart.com/deviation/42586272/Because I'll never forget... This painting took me a couple of months to do, as it is my first big project ever. I'd like to thank Fifth for all his support and usage of most of his painting supplies to make this happen. Acrylics on 24" x 36" canvas.

My expression to this painting is nearly exactly to the one of the green yoshi's. Awe its so well done, I'm definatly jealous my painting skills are seriously lacking compared to this. I want it! XD

Oh, man. The natural background is so excellently done. I like the angle you put it in, the perspective is so eye catching, inclined towards the sky with the trees sort of distorted at the top. The yoshies are cute as usual, all in their little innocent poses TRIPLE BONUS MULTIPLIER ! !. It also brings a lot of nostalgia, the moments before the big adventure in one of my favorite games ever, just waiting to happen. It's easy to see you did a lot of hard work on this, and I've got nothing but praise for it.
This is true art. I would pay a lot of money to have something like this, framed and in my house. Amazing job, meng. You should be proud of yourself.
...What's kind of weird is how red took his saddle off, I didn't know they could do that. TRIPLE BONUS MULTIPLIER ! !;

That is freaking awesome. It's so well done. I like the saddle in the tree by the red yoshi (that is a saddle, right?) I also liked how each yoshi is in a different pose.
Keep up the good work!

Teo... look at all the great stuff you've missed being absent a day and time... I mean...
Oh my goodness
Aw my gosh
Holy shiznits
WOW!!
My comments aren't as meaningful as I like them to turn out, but from the heart, I tell you that this is a truly amazingly wonderful awe-inspiring painting. I just cannot believe you made this with your own hands, it is just too beautiful. The clouds twirling in a circle around the falling sack, the vanishing point centered towards the sky, that green yoshi's completely priceless, meaningful expression... the red yoshi in the tree... there is just so much attention and detail!! You SO did not slack on this. For someone who not too long ago took up a brush for the first time since kindergarten, you have made a masterpiece. I'd rather have this hung in my room than the Mona Lisa. anything else in the world.

...Oh, wow.
I absolutely love all the different angles and poses you used here. Mario falling at the top and the clouds around him are... well, beautiful, haha. The shading is right-on, and all the other Yoshis' expressions are perfect. Eee, awesome colors. My paint-by-the-number things could only dream of being as wonderful as you, haha.
Excellent. Very. The only critique I have is sometimes the hands look a little funny, but that happens, haha.

How did you do it? It's absolutely fantastic! I like how you used a large variety of colors for the Yoshis. The green Yoshis expression is priceless and perfect. Of course all of the Yoshis are super cute too! I can see the incredible amount of detail and hard work you put into this, you should be extremely proud and pleased with yourself! Anything I say wouldn't do your picture justice. Congratulations on your first big project, we will never forget it!

Um, Ace? If you mind if I call you that... I have no idea what you mean. Maybe you can explain and atleast comment the art while you're at it...?
Anyway, I love this piece and it is inspiration for me definatly. I could never work with paint since... I'm paint challenged. The angle really makes a good difference and the clouds being blown around makes it cool. ^^ The only crit is that the green yoshies hand looks different from the rest and has a lack of fingers.... but it still looks cool! I hope you do more with paint and suceed with it just as this beautiful piece. ^^
