That first one's amazing, haha. You're getting really good at proportions.
Also, I really liked that purplish one. The grey eyes seemed to bring out the rest of the colors ^^ I'm not too sure what a Buffie is, but the coloring style you used is great. There's so many stars in the background ;D
Now for a bit of critiquing... You guys are making it harder for me every time you draw :<
On the first one, the shading seems to switch from gradually fading to switching colors in straight lines. It could just be your stlye, but I think some of it contrasts too much- like on your tail. The shading goes directly from light blue to pink in one of your shading stripes. On the second one, his shoe bottom comes out a little too far, it looks like, which kinda makes one shoe look far larger than the other. For the third picture, they seem to be lacking legs. But you probably did that on purpose, haha. Otherwise, Lazo's nose appears to be melded to your eye. On the fourth picture, the coloring goes out of the lineart a few times, but I had to look hard to catch them. There wasn't anything else of large importance that I caught... As for the last one, I'm not too sure what a Buffie is, so I can't give you any comments on proportions or anything. But it seems to me that the hat doesn't come down enough- its eye could easily be open under that. Otherwise, I would have to say that this was my favorite picture, what with the excellent background and vivid colors. Double-scoop ice cream

Everytime that you draw Pawmeister, your art not only flourishes; it extends. It's something that can't quite be explained in a mere phrase. Yet the way you captivate your canvas, is with the utmost of all possible human skills. One thing that you show in todays time, that seems to be fleeing, is the ability to progress in new enviroments. Many current artist seem to treat the skill as a mere fad; running up to draw one day, and then leaving it bare the following. They can't seem to keep their pens and pencils down. They just want to get that kiss of the "popularity" breeze. You, on the other hand, do not pertain to this group. On the contrare, in formality, you are beyond them in every single aspect. If someone wanted to find a true aspiring artist, they might look to yourself. They surely could shift their eyes about, but they would have to come to the final decision of pulling into you. There are no others, big or small, who can compete with your progress and undeniable detail. Not only are you known for your smooth, crisp, and sculpted outlines; your coloring is also a staple of your every motion. It seems that as you produce a new portrait, the colors cultivate. Always a new depth or style waiting beneath them. Never as they were before, fresh and revolutionary.
To begin, your first picture, stands out in amazing contrast with the others. It is, in it's own breath, as you mentioned a Christmas pose. Therefore, you definetly kept a tie with a simple gesture of the season. The lights are a lovely touch, and what really accounts in the whole strucutre is your facial expression. It is deep, somewhat confused, an embarrased sort of smile. Perhaps something that you would see if someone had really tangled themselves up in lights. It's what adds hilarity to the final version, and really goes through with your talent. Value seems to be throughout the anatomy as well, every little "round" section is greatly curved. As a true artist though, you don't use outlining to detail the inner "muscles". In fact, you use shading and a very gentile touch of brightness to form them. This is how it should be, and you never deter from it in any aspect. Also, outstanding job on showing the diffrence between fur and flesh; in this piece you were able to illustrate the well. The tufts of flur extend from the busom, and then follow along the stomach to the tail. That transaction, without fault, leads to a very "appealing" texture. Which you captured with ease. As well, the brightness reflecting on the hips adds a lot of flavor; showing a source of shade, and also "three-dimesional" anatomy. Have to love the tail as well, long and curvy; as they should be. Oooh Pawy, once again, you put your skills to the greatest.
Following, you placed one of your "Yoshi" poses. You've always spoken about your perception on the "Original" Yoshi anatomy. Your Yoshi, Pawy, shows a lot more than just creativity. She keeps the balance with the species, but also goes into something deeper. You were able to take her body, change it's appearance and still continue onwards. Actually, compared to a Yoshi, your character has always shown a very "lustful" quality. She's got that "girlish" figure, nicely trimmed curves and smooth flair. Because you decided to put Pawy into your imagination, you developed one of the greatest characters around. She is yours, and her excellence shows tremendously. However, while you might have the ability to form a Yoshi into your own hands, you also have the outstanding essence to restablish the older style. In your "Orange Yoshi" picture, you kept your shading and coloring to the maximum. Nothing dims out, and the whole of the Yoshi is taken. It really competes with those who use the old style, and to say, you could easily challange them all.
"Hugging" eh? Hah, out of all of your Pawy and Lazo pictures, this one puts the icing on a lot more than just cake. You worked on this one for awhile, constantly tinkering with its outline to see what you could compile. Everyday you would get a bit closer to it's completion. Finally, when you revealed it; the hard work you put into it's body was definetly viewable. Something that people need to definetly see, is the way you put contrast between you and Lazo. Majorly, in the area of size. This wasn't a mistake, as you pointed out on your dA page. In fact, it really works with a realistic sight. You are smaller than Lazo, and even take your character to be the same. Therefore, it adds an adorable essence to the whole scene. You're tiny, and he's huge; there you are, tail around him, holding tight. It's a lot more than just "cute", it shows a lot of love and justice. Also, as you mentioned, you took a new coloring style with that one; working hard to pull off something better. Your coloring is always under development; and you're reaching a lot more than you know. The shades and layers blend without any troubles, everything is smooth and full of depth. Do not give up, you've gone more than far with this one.
Like all of your art, you've gone to the limit and shown everyone what you're made of. Never give up on that sense Pawy. You've got skills in your bones and all over your body; keep them up, and never let that fall from yourself.
