Yoshi Jet video

As promised I slapped something together going from London Heathrow to New York JFK.
I tried to make it as 'interesting' as possible with a little flight around NYC itself before landing (that's for you Koshi), but it might still put you to sleep, especially with my dull voice over the top of it.

I compressed it as much as I could to 35mb.

For the vid to work, make sure your windows media player is up to date.

This video is great!! ;D Let me start by saying your voice is not dull at all Bry, and that it was nice to see NY out the window. It was also really great to get a first close up view of the yoshiJet. Now just think, the first yoshijet to take off, and it was made by you. Now thats something to be able to say to people. I also can't wait until you post another movie here.

OMG!!! I so loved the "dont sink.." part! No..seriously...well done BryUK...or Bryan...I bet you would be a great pilot...your voice is super relaxing! ;D I almost fell asleep while I was watching your movie...hehe. You have the typical pilot voice, in my opinion. Why not becoming one? Well...I know its a tough job, and not to forget a dangerous one.

Just to make sure everyone is awake and not sleep posting. Thanks folks, not too sure what to say really.

Bryan is my name, but I just go by Bry. I never really got the hang of the whole alias deal, but I don't mind people knowing who I am obviously ;D

As for the Geordie accent, lol, first time anyones actually said I had one Koshi. I actually got picked on at school 'cause I didn't have one. Must be the mildest geordie accent in the world. I don't think I talk like Ant & Dec. Or do I?

As for the pilot stuff, I do intend to finish earning my PPL someday. I'd have probably joined the airforce as a pilot, but I can't. I don't have perfect vision and you basically need perfect university grades to get in the Royal Air Force.
In airlines, its really just a management job now. The autopilot could do the whole thing if it had to, but people aren't willing to fly on a plane that doesn't have a human being at the controls.
Its a really safe job though. I'll bet you've heard the statistics like you're more likely to have an accident in your car on your way to the airport than during the flight itself.
