oh yea, how i came here.

tyfn was a huge community, still growing. (tyfn, or the yoshi forum network was my former board.) i came to yoshi art, id been here a few times, and i noticed a new "forum" option. so i clicked and joined. i came mabye 5 months after the making, and since im noobish when i first start out at stuff, my first 300 posts where all newbishness and spaming. i really set a big dent on yoshis corner as a newbie. oh well, you cant go into the past.

I'm sure you know me as the crazy military guy, the only one who has actually meant to enter the word "Panzerkampfwagen" in a proper sentence. But there's more to me than tanks. Tanks. Tanks. TankstankstankstanksTANKS!

I make an honest effort to understand what others' messages are, and you can talk with me about anything. Anything means anything. These days, I don't really get mad or upset anymore, the last time I was genuinely angry was five years ago. Always open to new ideas.

Directly for these communities, I write stuff, tack together sprite comics and rant. Only the best comic ideas are actually put together... In other words, entertainment.

Reside in the GCA, complete with Deep Dish pizza, Sausage smoothies and vicious Baseball team rivalry. A trip on the Magnificent Mile will require to ritualistically sacrifice your credit card to the Pagan god Scharnhorst, for even your largest wallets/purses cannot hold enough cash to buy anything there.

It's all about the Self Control.

Cayoshi would be a drawing-obsessed, comic-writin' angel yoshi who is never caught without her white and turquoise hat on or not in possession of a book. The one on the right...I might as well confess. That's Dark Cashew, or Invitruo, my secret identity.

(Jackals if you play Halo are extremly small, but me and Joshi like the bigger Contention, lets me pick him up and hold him lol, which is nice)

Hmm a bit about me Contention. Theres not much about me, I'm not a Yoshi, I would be a Jackal. An Alien Jackal. My version, or what I look like was created by Joshi, I thank him with all my heart for that. He made what Contention is today. A bit about Contention is he was born into a royal family, which was strange for his type based on the fact Jackals are one of the lowest forms. Because of this, he grew to be well known throughout his alien race. Over time, strange things began to seep into the confines of his twisted mind and he eventually killed his parents. The alien elders believed he did it under the influence of the prophets who watched over him as a child. After his parents deaths, Contention was stranded on the ring planet Halo (good job, if you couldnt see that coming).

After awhile he escaped the planet, bruised and beaten from the conflicts that arrived there. Soon after his departure he came across many new planets, and since he was filled with guilt of killing his family and being abondened he fleed to these systems in search for a friend or someone who could understand him. Theres a lot more to him than he knows, and the prophets could see this. What it is, has yet to be discovered by him or any others.

The real me, like I said in an intro, I am a 15 year old boy in my Sophmore year at highschool. Well, I'll be going into 10th grade after this summer break. My best friend I adore is Joshi, I miss him a lot this week. 7 days without him, now thats torture. He is the one who told me of this place and I never really joined because I viewed it as a "holy ground" or the place where all these great people I heard of were. I am quite shy and couldnt find myself to join and talk to these wonderful people Joshi had told me all about. After awhile though I did, but I did ask Joshi first cause I always viewed this place as a safe heaven. I mean you don't want to follow your best friends everywhere, it could get on their nerves and I really respect him. I heard of his friend Yoshiken and Mailtroid, whom I think sound extremly cool and nice. I met Mailtroid, never got a chance to really meet Yoshiken.

Other than that I have no hobbies besides talking to Joshi XD, and listening to his stories. I like playing games like Doom 3. Come on killing evil demons and listening to cries of suffering and pain, how could you not enjoy such horror? I also like Half Life 2 and Halo, and I am a fan of RPGs, just not a fan of RPG gods. I like people with good personalities, warm hearts, and good leadership, I've only met one person with all of those.

I live in Indiana YAY.. not really theres nothing to do here. I go see movies every once and awhile, and I like to write poetry when the mood is right. If I had to give Contention qualities like me.. since he is me... yeah I'm confused.. he would have the qualities that I have in real life, people orianted wise.

The easy part (Yoshi life):
I am a light blue yoshi who loves to research languages and is very good at mathematics.

The hard part (Yoshi life):
My father was a freak.
As you can see by my signature, this is how he lived. My mother died shortly after I was born, and my father, Idiotus, refused to mention her at all. No one believed his philosophy, and last week he commited suicide. Now I am all alone and still very young, and no one will be my friend because of my father's reputation.

My human life:
Yes, I have friends in my human life.
I am one grade ahead in Math and Spanish (going into my sophomore year in September). In fact, I earned a 100 in the infamous Math A Regents exam (in New York State). My classmates and teacher in Spanish class call me Enrique (that's how I got the name), and I am the smartest one in the class. I do have a passion for learning about languages, but I plan to major in Computer Science in college.

Hello, I'm Yonie. I'm light blue, but instead of the spikes and saddle on my back being red, they are dark blue. My shoes and eyes are dark blue as well. I live a peaceful life but in case of a possible attack I have studied the art of weilding a beam sword.

As a Human:
Hey, I'm Eddie. I'm 14 and I live in Georgia. I have dark brown hair and eyes and my height is average. In my spare time I enjoy playing video games, watching Nascar races, and drawing stuff. Also every now and then I challenge my friend to a shinai( bamboo sword) fight( which annoys the neighbors because of the loud clacking noises).

I'm a 16 year old boy, just had my birthday at the end of May. I've obviously been inactive for a good century, but I've come back since alot of friends are here. I'm naturally very shy, I first signed up as newyoshi and that name would later get me in some good trouble (YY war anyone?) Aaaaaanyway, I think that sums me up, or at least that's what I can think of right now, I'm pretty tired after staying up all night.
