yoshiken and john further discussed the current situation
john: your really good with your fire abilities right
yoshiken: my fire abilities are mastered an unmatched
john: ok if you havent noticed these locks are electronic and controlled by a master switch
yoshiken: and where is this switch
john: wellll....if you follow this hallway and walk up the stairs and then turn a 180 degree angle and then go a little bit further you will reach the switch
yoshiken: so how is it possible to get this master switch if its in a place like that
john: well if you burn the master control then every lock will disfunction and the doors will open
yoshiken: theres still the problem of getting to the switch
john: over these last few years ive collected many objects and materials that have let me be able to make a rod that curves up the stairs and alost to the master switch...but i ran out of objects and materials to use, but with your fire i am sure i can reach that master control
yoshiken: and how will that fire help getting to the master switch
john: as you can see when i connect these materials the rod that is made is hollow
yoshiken: aha...wich means i can shoot my fire into the rod and when it shoots out the other side it will singe the controls
john: exactly, now we must hurry putting this rod together....we only have 20 minutes before the guards come in and bring us our lunch
yoshiken: anything i can do to help while your putting the rod together
john: just watch for any guards
yoshiken: will do
*seventeen minutes later*
john: ok its done
yoshiken: ok hurry give me the rod
john: hold on i need to get it into position....ok here, hurry and charge up your fire
yoshiken:ok its charged up...now give me the rod *yoshiken shoots his fire into the rod which then bursts out the other side and destroys the controls which opens all the doors*
john: hahahahaha good shot me boy
yoshiken: lets go before this place fills up with escaping prisoners *john and yoshiken escape to the outside*
john: where are you headed
yoshiken: well im going to wait till chaos in that fortress is at its highest so that i can easily go in and grab my katana that they took and then just easily walk right out
john: well then see you my friend, i am sure we will meet again someday
yoshiken: hopefully, well...cya later

Joshi followed Yoshiken outside and waited for the right time to reveal himself.

Joshi: Y-Yoshiken?

Yoshiken: Joshi? Wha-How did you get here? What's the matter?

Joshi: Night Croshi ... Amazon ... sentinels were ... Foshi did ... subdued and captured ... after me!

Yoshiken: Joshi, I cannot comprehend what you are saying? Joshi, what is wrong?

Joshi took a deep breath and calmed down. He slowly and clearly explained the situation.

Yoshiken: So let me get this straight, Night Croshi and Amazon were subdued and captured by Foshi and his gang of sentinels. You found F.L.U.U.D. the creation of Proffesor E. Gadd and used it to avoid getting captured by the robots while following the radar in which indicated where I was because you placed a tracker on me. Now Foshi will do anything to capture you and assure that the sentinels eliminate all Yoshi kind without interference. Is that correct?

Joshi: *nods*

Yoshiken: And now you need me to help you find British so we can stop Foshi's evil plans to make Bowser prevail and save Night Croshi and Amazon.

Joshi: *nods* I'm scared Yoshiken. I can't handle a deadly army of sentinels by myself. They'll annihilate me. Please, you have to help me. I know that there has been many times where I have tried to stop you from causing evil, but...

Yoshiken: Joshi, look into my eyes. What do you see?

Joshi: *sniff* a light ... a light of purity and goodness ... but how come...

Yoshiken: Because I care. Joshi, I will never let them hurt you. I will give my life to protect you and to undo the evil these sentinels have brought because I too have contributed to this problem, and I promise, I will fix it. Joshi, what would a villain be without the little persistent hero trying to stop his/her evil plans. Don't cry, oh, come here you little runt.

Joshi ran towards Yoshiken and gave him a big comforting and friendly hug.

Joshi: Thanks Yoshiken, I knew I could count on you.

Yoshiken: *Pets Joshi on the head* No problem little buddy. But first, before anything. I must get my katana. I am waiting for the right opportunity to enter the fortress and retrieve them. You could be of some assistance, if I need it that is. Hide behind that tree Joshi until I tell you to move, and don't worry, I'm not as evil as people may thing I am *winks* I'll never let them hurt you, I promise...

Forgotten in town( UNITED?? Thanks....), DarkYosh decides to visit the Yoshi Mansion. He rings the doorbell...once...twice...three times...

"Oh well, they can afford a new door"

DarkYosh smashes the door open, the security alarm goes off but quickly shuts down recognizing him as a fellow Yoshi. DarkYosh scans around and finally spots the main computer module in their conference room, so he decides to figure out where his friends have gone.

"Hmm, let's see, why is no one here? I'll just run a few programs and....WHAAAAT??? They're on Delfino?? WITHOUT ME? Some friends! Jeez!"

In a baffled confusion, DarkYosh gets up and and figures a way to get to Delfino. He quickly exits and wanders around until he sees the vehicle garage. He sees a nice speedboat, equipped with a gun turret, forward and rear mounted lock-on missiles, on-board computer, standard side machine guns, adamantium hull, and a refrigerated beverage holder.

"They won't mind if I take this..."

He flipped a few switches, and hit the ignition. The boat revved up and roared out of the holding pool bursting throught the garage door and out onto the open seas.

DarkYosh activated the computer and scanned for Delfino. He looked at the radar and saw he had pursuers.

"Great, today is not the best day for me now is it?"

He programmed the computer to set a course for Delfino. DarkYosh jumped in the turret behind the front seat and swiveled around to face behind him.

"Computer! Data on pursuers!"

Computer: "Koopa Class, in turbo thrust jet-skis. Be warned, they are armed with harthingy guns with explosive tips."

DarkYosh aimed at the leading Koopa and fired a few rounds of the machine guns, hitting the Koopa and a few stray bullets hitting a few of the other Koopas.

Two Koopas came up on both sides of the boat. DarkYosh swiveled around and shot them, but the bullets just bounced off of their shells.

Koopa1: "Long Live Bowser!!"
Koopa2: "Where are all your friends? Did they leave poor you behind? I bet they don't even know your name! Hahahahahhah!!"

The two Koopas jumped onto the boat and aimed their guns at him. DarkYosh thought about what the Koopas had just said. He climbed out of the turret and said:

"Take me to Bowser, my "friends" need to be assessed...personally"

Koopa2: "How do we know we can trust you?"
DarkYosh: "You don't...wanna fight about it?" (He charges up an attack)
Koopa 1&2: "Okay! Jeez, we're not THAT loyal to that old coot Bowser! We'll take you there."
The Koopas took the helm of the boat and took DarkYosh to Bowsers Lair.

Bowser: "Ahhh the infamous DarkYosh!! The same one I fought against all those years ago? The same one I cryogenically froze? You finally escaped? Well done! And now, after all you fought for...all these years...you want to tear it all apart?"

DarkYosh: "In a way, yes. You see, I've been fighting to protect my race, but I realized now, 'Why bother?' no one wants my help, so now, they'll have to oppose me."

Bowser: "How do I know I can trust you?"

DarkYosh: "You don't." DarkYosh smiled

Bowser: "Heh heh, I like your style, but just to be sure, I want you to see some of your friends, I can use them against you if you are plotting something, so don't get too sure of yourself."

Bowser took DarkYosh into the Dungeons walking by cell after cell until he reached a halle named Y Block.

Bowser: "Here they are."

DarkYosh peered into the cells containing Yoshis.

DarkYosh: "I don't care."
Bowser: "Only time will tell me if you are lying, so for no, lets get you en route to Delfino...and of course you'll need a partner."

Bowser walked DarkYosh into a training room, a monitor showed the name "Reaver". Another monitor showed Reavers training session.

Bowser: "Get Reaver in here!"

Reaver walked in. He was a tall, dark blue yoshi. He wore tattered brown pants and his bare chest had many scars. He had a long, glowing blue sword, the very one that gave him the nickname "Reaver". He also had a blue shield, apparetly made of Koopa shell.

Bowser: "He is your partner. Good luck, and get going, you have a certain Delfino Plaza to liberate."

DarkYosh looked at Reaver and two Koopas led them out.

Bowser: "Oh! By the way...Welcome to the Evil side...Bwahahahahahahahahahaaaa!!"

British stood up, his legs finally working properly.

"Looks like I'm ready to go. You up for some steath, Para?"

Para gets up and sticks his head through the doorway.

"The coast is clear, here at least anyways... I'd imagine there would be more gurads near the control room... Its not something Bowser would wantto leave open, after all."

"Just remember that we need to get my gear first, I'm not leaving without that rifle."

"Yeah yeah, don't worry about it. Hmm... I guess you can use this metal bar, for the time being, in case you need to crack anyone with it." Para picks up a worn looking bar, and throws it over to British. British glances at the bar, looking less than impressed with the hardware.

"Um, thanks. I guess."

"At least its better than a kick in the teeth... Come on, lets go. The room where they're keeping your gear is not far from here. I'll take lead."

"Fair enough. Lead the way."

The two set off for the storage room, but find it guarded by a Hammer Brother.

"I didn't think Bowser still employed those guys..."

"He doesn't... at least not outside the fortress. They aren't much use compared to a laser dealing sentinel now, are they? Then again, thay are pretty tasty in a melee..."

British edged his head round the corner, thinking.

"Hmm... are you able to distract him?"

"I guess so," Para raised an eyebrow. "Why?"

"So I can get in there, and get my stuff, obviously. Just go and talk to him about whatever, say you're lost or something."

"OK..." Para walked over, with a confused look on his face, and 'bumped' into the guard.

"HEY, watch it, shrimp. This area is restricted, ya know." This guy was built like a tank.

"Oh, er, sorry. I'm new, do you know where to find the... er... bathroom?"

British slapped his forehead. "BATHROOM??"

The Hammer Bro answered, giving Para an odd look. "Wait, you're telling me you don't knowwhere the bathroom is??"

"Umm.... yea? Like I said, I'm new, and --"

"I get the picture... geez... OK. Just go down that corridor, and take the third right. Its on the 2nd door on the left." He spun round to point out which corridor he meant, leaving British the perfect opportunity.

"GYAAA!!" He ran up to the Guard, with the element of surprise on his side, then swung the bar right on the back of the guards head.

*CLANG*

The guard dropped instantly.

Para looked surprised at British. "Well, that was subtle."

"Did it work, or didn't it? Regardless that guy isn't waking up soon. Just as well, this bar looks finished. Its more like a boomerang." British tosses it aside and makes his way into the strage room.

He walks inside, passing a pile of storage crates, a few of them open. "Why would Bowser keep all this junk... Ah. Here it is..." British finds the crate containing his rifle, and the ammo inside. "Now we can go waste some sentinels again." He slots in a fresh charge and sets off with Para to the Control Room.

[Just to clarify.. Yoshiken, Joshi, British, and DarkYosh are all in Bowsers castle.. right?]

I said Yoshiken.. and Dark Yoshi is there because the Koopas led him there. Ok.
Nightcroshi..
Nightcroshi woke up with a pounding headache. He was tied up, and duct tape covered his mouth. His vision blurred, and then returned to normal as he felt a splitting pain down his back. He turned to see that Amazon was beside him, tied up as well. They were imprisoned in a thick metal cage, which was then covered with a sheet of cloth. Through the cloth, the two prisoner Yoshi's saw shadows moving. After a couple of minutes, they were dropped on the ground with a loud crash. Nightcroshi's backside was shoved against metal bars, and he would have yelped in pain, but the tape prevented him from doing so. As the shadows disappeared from sight, Nightcroshi shut his eyes and tried to teleport outside of the cage. To his surprise, instead of disappearing, he felt a huge jolt of pain, as a machine around his neck stopped him. Nightcroshi's eyes widened as he reeled in pain, and Amazon gasped. They had put power jammers around their necks, and Amazon was wearing one too. Nightcroshi's eyes narrowed as they lost hope and he sat back down. The rebellion was over... Everyone was captured.

[Foshi K.]

(Think I'm dead, eh? Ha ha ha! I am not! Here comes Foshi!)

The jet is soaring above Yoshi's Island now. Foshi and Roots are taking the time to arrange a plan.

"Foshi, you've got to confront Bowser again," Roots insists. "We don't know we're need to go unless-"

"He doesn't know where we've got to go either, Roots!" Foshi groans. "Besides, Bowser might give second chances, but he sure as hell won't give third. We've got to get our own plan."

"Fine. So what were you saying about rebel Yoshis?"

"They've got to have some sort of hideout..."

"Master Foshi!" calls one of the Sentinels. "Suspicious mansion spotted! Door appears to be missing!"

"That is suspicious...land the jet near it!"

The Sentinels do so, crashing right into the street.

"It's a Yoshi town, or something," mutters Roots. "But the only reason we're checkin' out the mansion is because it's door's busted down?"

"Affirmative," Foshi replies, mocking the Sentinels. He and Roots get out, followed by their Sentinels. They waltz into the spacious mansion.

"Looks like no one's home..." Foshi laughs. "Sents, locate the security system in here-if there is one-and disable it! Then re-program it to work for us! Search for anything useful and report to me where it is. But don't wreck a thing! This'll be our new hideout...hey, you! Reconstruct that door and lock it!"

"Nice move, Foshi," Roots chuckles. "Who do you suppose could've broke down the door?"

"I could care less. It's ours now...why worry? Hey, you! Install flamethrowers onto the roof that could hide under the tiles!"

"Do you think this is really the rebels' old hideout?"

"If so, we're ten steps ahead of his Royal Koopa Ass, if you know who I mean. Hey, you at the door! While you're at it, install flamethrowers that could under the floor mat that could fire at any intruder!"

"Yeah, I got ya. Howzabout while you stay here, I fly the jet back to Delfino to make sure no more rebels are there?"

"Sure, whatever. You ten! Accompany her!"

The Sentinels obey, following Roots out the doorway. They board the jet and lift off.

"Heh, I got an idea. Hey, you there! Is there a computer here with WebCam?"

"Affirmative. Follow me, Master Foshi..."

Foshi is led up some stairs and into a door. A monitor-with a WebCam-is glowing at him.

"Alright, perfect. Let's see if Bowser agrees on loaning a little to the up-and-coming Foshi Roots Army..."

[joshi]

Joshi waited for Yoshiken's command behind the tree patiently when his communicator began beeping...

Joshi: How is it possibly possible that anyone can call me in the middle of an inferno major!

Joshi presses the button and accepts the call.

Mailtroid: Hello, Joshi, do you read me?

Joshi: Oh my gosh, Mailtroid how are you?

Mailtroid: Excellent, my shuttle endured the intergalactic trip and I brought many artifacts. I'm preparing to arrive at the central town now, meet me there!

Joshi: MAILTROID DON'T!!!

Joshi remembers the destruction caused on that small town where he had met British. Then, he is reminded of the horrific fate of his friends.

Mailtroid: Why?

Joshi: *sigh* Mailtroid, there has been a major crisis here on our planet. you are the only one who have not been here to experience it. Bowser broke all hell lose on this once peaceful place. The friends you knew and I knew, they *sob* gone. They have been taken far away to be annihilated and I'm one of the very few who have endured this revolution. Yoshiken is here with me, and I met someone named British, who has advanced weaponry and is captured off somewhere else. Night Croshi, and even Amazon, they've been subdued and captured. You can't come Mailtroid, please listten to m.e.e Ma..tr..d. Mail...id a.re y..u th.ere? H..lo?

Mailtroid: Joshi? Joshi! I must find help!

Joshi and Mailtroid's communication instantly broke and lost contact of each other. Joshi remained in his place until Yoshiken gave the order to move...

A few minutes later, British and Para make their way to the control room.

Para walks into the control room, looks around, but oddly, doesn't spot any guards or cameras, or anything guarding the room.

"Come on in," He yells over." Coast is clear... not a guard in sight."

British walked in, looking slightly suspicious, with his rifle readied. "Thats strange... No guards at all... I wonder why that is."

"I 'unno. Looks like we have the whole place to ourselves."

"Nice... then we can get to work. You know what the password to this thing is?" British looks over to the main screen, which currently has the word "LOCKED" flashing in red letters.

"Not a clue, sorry." PAra shrugged his shoulders.

"Hmm... does Bowser still lust after Peach?"

"What does that have to do with anything? Hmm, Well, he still wants here for his own, but gave up on kidnap attempts long ago."

"Let me try something... P-E-A-C-H." British keys in the password... the machine displays some weird dialogue on the screen for a few seconds. "PLEASE WAIT..."

*Ding* "PASSWORD ACCEPTED." The screen is left with a flashing cursor, waiting for someone to do something on it.

Para's eyes widen, with surprise. "That... that worked? MAN, I can't believe Bowser would be DUMB enough to keep his password the same!"

"I know... he must still have something for her, I guess."

"Haha, I know what he'd like to give her, and its --"

"Can it, pervert. I need to figure out how to work this ass-backward computer system."

Para walks up and shoves British out of the way. "Here, let me see... hmm, lets try this here... Running processes... Kill Process... Comms systems... RF antenna... Sentinel Guidance / Tracking system! Score!! Now, lets be getting rid of that... there. Thats that functionality good and deleted.

The message "WARNING: SENTINEL CONTROL SYSTEM DEACTIVATED. ALL SENTINELS DISABLED." Flashes on the screen briefly.

"Although... I'm guesing Bowser has several backups of that... I don't know how long it would be before he would be able to replace it... not long, at a guess..."

British reaches inside his jacket for something. "Don't you worry your pretty little head about that, my friend. This, should be ample to make sure he can't get those sentinels back up in a hurry." He pulls out a time bomb, obviously looted from the stroage room earlier.

"WHOA, A bomb? Where'd you get that??"

"I treated myself to a few goodies from that storeroom. You know, if you're in a hotel, you always take a towel? Same principle really. Now, lets set this to, oh, say... 15 minutes? That'll be enough." British keys in the time, pushes the arm button and leaves it on top of the centre console. The timer starts ticking...

"Er, you sure you know what you're doing?"

"Not really. But this is our best bet to disable those sentinels. I take it you know the way out?"

"Well, yeah, but I --"

"Good, we have no time to waste. Now lets get out of here before they --"

"**ALERT! EXPLOSIVES DETECTED IN MAIN CONTROL ROOM! ALL TROOPS TO THE CONTROL ROOM.**"

" -- Find it."

The two of them make a break for the exit.

[Yoshiken]

"ok are you ready joshi....NOW"
joshi and yoshiken rushed towards the front gate and entered without much disturbance
yoshiken: ok joshi, we need to find the storeroom
joshi: uh oh...how are we supposed to do that, there are probably a million doors in this fortress
*some koopas run by in fear of all the chaos and yoshiken grabs one*
yoshiken: excuse me good sir may we have the directions to the storeroom
koopa: im srry that info is classified, besides i need to escape
yoshiken: do you know who i am
koopa: not really
yoshiken: my name is yoshiken draconi, the master of fire and destruction *charges up a fireball in one of his hands*...now lets try this again, where is the storeroom
koopa: it...it...its on the second floor, down the first hallway...the third door to the right
yoshiken: you get that joshi
joshi: i got it
yoshiken: thank you for your assistance, you may leave now
*the koopa sprints out the front door*
joshi: ok lets go find that room
* the two run up the stairs avoiding the chaos and confusion around them*
joshi: heres the room
yoshiken: hmmmmmm....it seems somebodies already been here
joshi: probably some of the prisoners wanting there stuff back
yoshiken: ok lets see...where is my katana...

Joshi looked around the store room to find Yoshiken's katana. He found an experiment that increases the speed of time.

Joshi: It's the YATE Speed-Up Watch (SUW)! Ooh.

Yoshiken: Yes, that is nice, but remember who has the TOW. Now, stop slacking off and look for my katana before they catch us.

Joshi: Yes ... sir.

Joshi smiled at the fact that Yoshiken, the most evil emperor in the galaxy, is working side by side with him. He looked all around the room and saw three skulls at the back. They all faced a particular brick on the wall, above them was the butt of the katana.

Yoshiken: There it is!

Yoshiken ran towards his katana and pulled on it. It wouldn't budge

Yoshiken: Shoot, it's stuck!

Joshi walked towards the three skulls and pushed the brick they were facing. The katana came off the wall and Yoshiken went flying off and hit his noggin on the wall.

Yoshiken: Ow, thanks a lot doofus.

Joshi: Hee hee, sorry.

Yoshiken picks up his katana and swings it a few times. Joshi prepared his YATe experiments.

Yoshiken: Where's your F.L.U.U.D?

Joshi: *Looks around* Oh no, I lost it! Where is it? I think I may have left it outside.

Yoshiken: Oh phooey, it does not matter anymore, come on now, my katana is the only thin I was concerned about.

The fortress rumbles like an earthquake and kncoks Yoshiken and Joshi off balance.

Yoshiken: What was that?

Joshi's radar had a huge bleep on it. In the center, there was timer.

Joshi: [glow=red,2,300]A BOMB! YOSHIKEN, IT IS GOING TO DETONATE ANY MINUTE, WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE NOW!!!!!![/glow]

Yoshiken gasped and ran towards the door. He quickly checked outside for any sentinels then commanded Joshi to move forth, they ran swiftly towards the exit before the bomb explodes.

Yoshiken: How much time?

Joshi: 5 minutes!

Yoshiken: Plenty of time, as long as you can keep up with me.

Joshi activates his rocket shoes and thrusts ahead of Yoshiken.

Joshi: Correction, if you can keep up with me.

Yoshiken: Very funny Joshi *opens wings* now let's stay together so we can escapte together.

**5 minutes remaining**

Para and British were nearly at the exit...

"Come on, not far now... "

British was catching up behind Para, but paused to get a quick look at something.

"Wait... another prison block? I wonder who they have in there?" He started his way in.

"What are you doing?! Theres no time for that! That Bomb will go off in 5 minutes!!"

"I'm not going to be long, you go ahead without me."

"But, the bomb --"

"Go!! I'll find my own way out."

"OK, OK... your funeral..." With that para ran off toward the exit corridor.

Meanwhile, British had already happened upon a cage with a tarp thrown over it in the corner of the room.

"What have we here..." British pulls off the tarp revealing the cage underneath, and he is shocked to find Nightcroshi and Amazon tied up and gagged under there. "..What the Hell? What are you doing here?? Can't stay here, this place is gonna blow in... 4 minutes." British shoots off the lock , and unties the two of them. Nightcroshi takes in a gasp of air, while Amazon still looks stunned by it all.

"British? I thought you'd had it, for sure!"

"Nope. I'm good. Anyay, theres no time to waste here yapping, that bomb will go of in... 3 minutes 15 seconds. Can you teleport us out of here?"

Nightcroshi tugged at the blocker still around his neck. "Nope, not with this thing still on."

"Damn, looks like we're going to have to do this the old fashioned way... and run like hell."

The three of them set off for the exit corridor, where Para had gone earlier. "Not much further now, surely..." Amazon muttered.

"Crap, only 30 or so seconds left... But look, the exit!!" Just as they are about to make it for freedom, they stop, due to the fact that there is now a large group of sentinels blocking the exit... and the way behind them.

"No!! We can't be stopped now!" British yelled "Coming all this way, for nothing?" Then the countdown started...

"10...9..."

"Looks like this is it." Amazon shrugged her shoulders, and looked down towards the ground

"8...7..."

"Well, I'll say it was a pleasure working with you... for what little we gained..." Nightcroshi starts to shake British's hand

"6..5..."

"The pleasures been all mine. We need a miracle, at least, now..." British looked at the Sentinels, almost staring right through it.

"4..."

**Fwooooooshhhh**

A fireball engulfs most of the Sentinels guarding toe door,
and behind the smouldering wrecks is Yoshiken, with another fireball at the ready, then sends it down the hall towards the Sentinels behind.

"Come on, NOW!! Get out!!" Yoshiken yells.

"What the --"

"3...2..."

The three make one last sprint for the exit... dodging the lasers of the sentinales still left.

"1...0..."

Just in the nick of time, they jump outthe ront door.

"BLEEEEEEP"

An earth shattering explosion fills the air, sending bits of debris all over the place, and the force of the explosion carries the group about 30 feet forwards, landing in the grass outside the fortress.

British stands up, and dusts himelf off, and looks back atthe crumbling wreckagethat used to once be Bowsers fortress. "Wow... we did it."

Nightcroshi staggers up, and leans on British. "Just... just how much explosive was in that bomb, anyway?"

"Oh, enough, I'd say..." I guess we can relax... for now, at least."

Just as they are all about to collapse, a craft flies over them... bearing the insignia of Bowser himself. Amazon stares upwards, and just lets out a sigh, of disappointment. "No... how can he still be alive?"

Bowsers voices booms out from the crafts loudspeakers.

"Do you really think thats enough to defeat me?? HA! As if I wouldn't have a back up facility? This is only a minor setback, you fools!! You will all FALL at my hands, I can assure you! I can have my sentinels back up and running soner than you think... Oh well. Enjoy your brief respite, I'm sure you'll need it. oh, and British... With that, the craft roars off into the distance.

Nightcroshi flashes a confused look at British. "Um, what exactly did he mean by THAT?"

British turns away, and forms his hands into a fist. "Don't worry about it... us two go way back...
...
Come on, we should be getting back to the mansion now..."

The group then set off on the long trek back to their head quarters.

Nightcroshi stared at his power restrainer.

"Yoshiken, can you help?" Nightcroshi turned to the dragon-yoshi. Yoshiken winked, and the inhibitor was set ablaze and started sparking.

"HOLYYY.." Nightcroshi shouted, ripping the restrainer off and throwing it to the ground. Moments later, the same process was repeated to Amazon, but with less fuss. She calmly tossed the restrainer away.

"Oh, Nightcroshi.. I found these Psi-Blades in the Weapon Storage..Are they yours?" Joshi asked, pulling out two red and white glovelike weapons. "They have your signature red and white colors.." Nightcroshi stared at the gauntlets, and silently put them on. Somehow.. he knew about these weapons and he felt like he had used them before.

"Thanks..." He murmured, and suddenly, two glowing blades phased out of the gauntlets. Nightcroshi trembled a little, and he willed them to turn off. The blades faded. "Awesome.."

"Can we get going now?" British asked. "You can jump us to the mansion, now that that thing is off.. Right?" Nightcroshi shook his head.

"At most, I can only teleport 4, maybe 5 miles. God knows where we are.. We're just going to have to find our way back to the mansion." Groans were heard, but they continued on their journey. After walking in silence for a while, they approached a hill. When they saw what was beyond the hills, they all gasped. They saw...

...a party of sentinels, with a strange, new red ensigna upon them. One of them was chanting in a monotone "We come in peace we come in peace we come in peace".

The head of the party had a slip of paper in its claw. It stopped on top of the hill, right before Nightcroshi, and offered the paper.

Joshi stared uncertainly at Nightcroshi, but the blue Yoshi hastily swiped the paper. As soon as he did so, the party turned around and marched back down the hill.

"What the hell was that about?" British muttered.

Nightcroshi unfolded the slip. "'If you want your mansion back, betray the Yoshi race and submit to the Foshi Roots Army!' What? Who does this guy think he is...?"

Flash to the mansion, where Roots has returned.

"Yeah, after you found the rebels," Foshi explained, "I sent a party after them to give them the ultimatum. Of course, them being the heroes, they'll probably refuse it, and then we'll go to my favorite part of the evil villian plan: brute force."

"Well, why didn't you skip the ultimatum if you knew they'd refuse?" Roots asked.

"Ah, the little you know about villianry...in the time it takes for them to respond to me, I'll build up the brute force part."

"Ohh...it's a stall method!"

"Yes...hey, you! Are those rooftop flamethrowers installed yet?"

"Up and running, Master Foshi. The orange switch makes them flip up, and the red button fires."

"Good, good...Bowser's sending more sentinels as we speak. They ought to be arriving sometime soon..."

Meanwhile...


Yoshi sage's hands were sweating as he hung onto a large cliff. He had been ambushed by koopas while he was flying to town square.

He prepared for flight and shoot up of the cliff and towards the koopas. He pointed his staff at one shooting a beem of light towards him. "BAM!" a explosion of light went of that blinded the group.
when the light faded half of the kopas had dissapeared. He drew his sword landed and started swining wildly he got rid of most of them but there were to many. They charged at Yoshi sage and surronded him. He was doomed...

**5 hours later**

After a few hours of walking, the group finally happened upon the ruins of the city they all first met in. The place was deserted, there was no indication that anybody had ever lived, or worked there. Everyone had probably been evacuated by now, or worse... the only movement was a tattered newspaper trapped in an updraft. Para goes over to pick it up.

"Hmm, this is dated two days ago... with the Headline 'Terror sweeps the nation'. I guess no one was prepared for the Sentinel attacks at all... there was probably no warning. They never stood a chance."

British looked over to the square where he had first met Nightcroshi, there was still wreckage of the Sentinels that no one had bothered to clean up. Some of them were still sparking. He turned to look at where the original introductory fight had taken place.

"You know... this place holds a lot of memories... and every last one of them bad. What a way to meet someone, by saving them from imminent doom... Its a shame we couldn't have met under nicer circumstances." British kicks one of his empty ASMD charges, sending it into a bunch of over turned rubbish bins. "In an ideal world, we'd never even need any of this junk. But, its impossible in reality... theres always someone wanting the land of someone else, or somebody wants to off somebody else."

There looked like there was something nagging at the back of Nightcroshis mind... "British, didn't you say that you had disabled ALL the sentinels? On our way out, I'm sure I saw a few moving. Yoshiken says he had to fry a few, when he was on his way out of the fortress, too, when they SHOULD have been disabled."

"I don't know... it must be true what Para said... Bowser must have redundant back up systems, in case something like this happens.. and they were certainly back up fast."

"I'll say..."

British saw the wreck of his mangled bike, a ways off in the distance...

"Dammit, I liked that bike... I could already have been back at the mansion by now. We could have -- Oh, wait... theres something I need to pick up back at my place. I'm going to have to meet up with you guys later. Sorry about that... I'll see you back at the mansion."

He sets off running back to his place, while the rest of the group keep going for the direction of the mansion.

"BAM!" a wave of light knocked the koopas down.
Yoshi Sage charge through a new opening in the circle and lifted of into the air shooting beams of light back at the group. He barley made it out alive. He flew to the top of the hill and stopped stuned at what lie before him. It had been years since seeing town square and he had to say it change a lot over those years. The town was in ruins...

Yoshi sage-Darn! I should of known! Why did I have to come here?!

He could make out a small group of yoshies he decided maybe they could tell him exactly what happened...

He noticed one was headed in his direction Yoshi sage flew directly over him.

Yosh sage-Um...hey, can you tell me what the heck happened here?
