naw im lying to you guys....good job on figuring out that i was lying though.....hes not the brother of sephiroth......he was just a really close friend since cloud was about six years of age....During the events of Nibelhem, he changed his perception of Sephiroth and he despised him for what he had done to the town and to Tifa. During the game he constantly fights off being controlled by Sephiroth. Aeris death furthers his hatred for Sephiroth. Cloud eventually defeats Sephiroth in the Northern Crater. Sephiroth views Cloud as a weak person who refuses to come to terms with what he is like he did. He also sees Cloud as a tool he can use to do his bidding.
