New Year's Greeting (too late!)

I did my best for this picture. I used it for new year's greeting cards printing out on them.
What do you think of it? Could anyone give me any advices?

Edit: There are chickens in the picture because this year's the Year of Chicken in some eastern countries.

Wow, I really like it, good job! What's being said though? I can't read japanese at all, even though it's one of the coolest languages.

Oh, I should have thought of the language differences. Sorry. I try to translate them:

the blue text on upper right (‹±‰êV”N)	A Happy New Year (an idiom; "I diferentially celebrate the new year.")
the black text on a cucco (Œ{‚̈ꐺ‚Ì—l‚É...)	I wish your new year will be a energetic one like a loud cackle. We shall keep in touch with each other as we did last year, please. January, 2005 (the second sentence is an idiom.)
the text on the left side (ƒ[ƒ‹ƒ_‚Ì“`à...)	The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time + Kirby (Zelda no Densetsu: Toki no Ocarina + Hoshi no Kirby)
what kirby's shouting (ƒRƒPƒRƒbƒR[)	thingy-a-doodle-doo!

You mean he can't speak a language? You're right, but that works only on the anime. Kirby does speak Japanese in the video games, even though you might not be able to tell what he's saying. For example, he is saying "‚æ‚¢‚µ‚å," "‚â‚ÁA‚¦‚¢" in SSB. He also speaks Japanese in their instruction booklets. (I know only about Japanese version)
