when was your yoshi characters first created?

Another words, how old is your yoshi characters now? How and why were they created? (If besides because you like yoshies also).

My character named 'Markto Dragon' was 'Mark Dragon' but only been spiced up (I think one or two years ago). But the very first version of my Mark Dragon character was first created 8-10 years ago. That's round about 1995 as far as I remember making my character 8-10 years old in creation date (of course in story, he's ALOT older now). So you guys hav 2 understand that some of my characters are actually very old but brought up back from the piles of the forgotten. Mark Dragon was actually the popular revival.

The reason why he is created? Well, back then, I used to do a fan comic of 'Pop'n'Twinbee X' where my Mark Dragon first comes in. Back then I used to be a fan of pop'n'twinbee series and I had a crush with Pastel (I still do) I now asked myself "Why the hell did I choose this cheesy name for a title when Mark Dragon is actually the main character?" Seriously I don't know what the hell was I thinking back then. But overall, this is how Markto Dragon was created from then till now.

Good question...i created mine during September this year, that was when i first started college...can't remember the exact date, but oh well.

Toshi is basically me, except in a "wish i was like that" version. Then my other characters, Mishi, Mutshoshi, Kyshi, Soshi and Seshi, along with Toshi's parents, Yinshi and Sutakamontshi and his bro, Ryshi were made out of randomness, sort of representing friends and family, but aren't EXACTLY my friends and family, if you know what i mean...

The names i got out of the courtesy of fellow guys here, but Toshi was my own thought up name. I only created them because i wanted a change from drawing just Yoshi, and therefore will allow me to come up with some crazy, but unique ideas using these specific characters.

I made this a passion of mine through the beckoning of my Dad, he loved what i did, and so wanted me to make it into something far more superior, i'm happy he made me do this, that is why i am here now, and i hope to continue on for many years to come!

According to some people, I have to many evil characters and not enough female characters. o_O

Ehhh... Darkmark was created in late 2003, about September-ish, but he's developed a lot since then. And has become a lot more evil >D

I needed a Yoshi character to join a certain Yoshi fansite (which shall remain nameless) and after a little bit of sprite-tweaking I came up with a fairly unique character.

Hmm, My original alias, Spyro24uk(Not exactly a Yoshi name), has been around since 2001 (The first time I discovered Geocities, and still to this very day use that area too), but the now more used one, and more widespread, and is a Yoshi name, PinkFloydYoshi, is 1 on December 27th. One week and 2 day's after my actual birthday(18th December).

I suppose I've got to buy myself something on the 27th. That'll be fun... "Dear PinkFloydYoshi, From Lee(My actual name)".

my orginal was a yoshi named summer, god of the sun (lameage!) made years ago. i only joined here this year so my new chars barely a year old XD

My first Yoshi character was made when I was 9. When I first discovered the internet. I was sitting in my kitchen on my laptop, and I surfed onto Luna's website. I was OBSESSED with poptarts, [dont ask why], so I made Popshi, the Poptart Yoshi with Strawberry Filling and Rainbow Sprinkles. I lived inside a toaster. ; This summer I got re-interested and I created Nightcroshi, and spawned his super team of X-Yoshies, Amazon, Cyclopshi, and Iceyoshi. Cyclopshi and Iceyoshi got dropped, and Amazon and Nightcroshi I kinda melded their characters, into the one and only Tempest. :] And on the side, I have my baby Poke-Yoshies, Cholron the Bulboshi and Pyre the Charmanshi. Squirtshi got dropped. =]

[Rainbow Yoshi]

My Yoshi character was made on the internet about 4 years ago, but I had been playing as him about 7 years ago. I would say I was him and I could fly, I was rare yoshi, etc, etc.(I was little, ok? Cut the youngster version of me some slack.) Originally, his name was ColorYoshi,(I was still little, you must remember that.) but when I was about nine, I decided to make the name much better. So, there ya have it. My yoshi character.

Well, my character officially went up in… March (2004), I believe.

I used the KISS formula¹ for the appearance, name and abilities. As you can see, I used parts of one word to build another. I didn’t change much appearance partly because it’s annoying, but mostly because there are people (I know several) that will take inconstancies, remember them, and then bring them up again at the worst possible time purely out of spite.

With regard to abilities, I would always see others who had characters with 80+ abilities that had little or nothing to do with each other². Instead, I took one event and thought about which abilities could reasonably come from that. Turns out not much, but that’s ok.

I had to have a yoshi character to join another fan site (quite possibly the same one that Darkmark mentioned, but that’s only speculation). So I gave him personality traits combining my two favorite MTG colors, Blue and Black³.

well my oldest charicter is red yoshi of fire for gametalk which i made either early this year or the end of last year, then i e-mailed the person nicknamed Y.E. the link for here and joined up and created fire_blade,(my evil counterpart) and than i thougt of a good dragon yoshi and called him light dragoon yoshi,then i shortened it to L.D yoshi, after thjat i got rid of the wings and L.D. was fini

yea, well, heres my story. i was always red yoshi since 14 years ago. he was my hero on smw. i used to always want red yoshi, no matter what yoshi game it was. i was dissapointed when mario party didnt have a red yoshi. the name red.yoshi was created 1996, and has been forming with me since then. i was angry today when i played my friend on the ds and he was a red yoshi.

the original red yoshi was created sometime after september, 1990. around 1991 to be sorta exact.

Well... my original character (Yoshiru Ferrari) was created in 2000. But in January 2003, Yoshiru died... And thus Yoshi Soul came into existence; But he's simply Yoshiru Ferrari's soul.
