XD, Yes, the Nightmare Organism was one of the more kinda disturbing Metroid Enemies, how it's face like, melted and oozed away as you killed it... Ech.

Almost as bad as watching Crocomire's flesh burn right off of his body in Super Metroid.

Maybe it's a Mushroom Kingdom thing. I mean, I'm sure that koopas are born with their shells, but in the first Paper Mario, there was this one koopa talking about having his shell special ordered like it was a special jacket. It's like... Mushroom Kingdom peeps are born with natural articles of clothing =O

I think that at the exact point of birth, the father yoshi has these "shoes" and "saddle" and when the mother gives birth, the father slips them on quickly and nobody notices, although i do have an idea of what they would look like...

I think you're forgetting something: Yoshis are not livebearers, they lay eggs.

By the way, it's wonderful to know that people like the Yoshi feet I draw, thank you! Of course, I love these feet as well Double-scoop ice cream ;D

I would say Yoshis are born with shoes and saddle simply because it's more work for Nintendo to add them later. Can you imagine having to look for a pair of shoes & saddle every single time you hatched a Yoshi in Mario Sunshine? I guess not. And also, back in the days of all-sprite games, adding the shoes and saddle later meant creating more sprites of Yoshi without these items, which meant less memory space for the rest of the game, and since the space was already super-small...
