Hey, I'm not you! The fact that you've seen typos and I haven't does not change what I said. "Mario! It that really you?" - Yoshi, Super Mario 64 Perhaps you've never heard Yoshi talk in the original SMW episodes? Going back to the topic... Mario WILL be able to ride ChibiYoshi. I just saw it in a video at nintendo.co.jp. However, it looks kinda ridiculous (and abusive) since Mario is twice as big as the poor tiny Yoshi. See below: And it looks like you can use Bowser for something (Super Bowser or "Suupaa Kuupa" shown):

...I have nothing against Yoshi wearing apparel, but...GOOD GOD, NO.
Hair just cuts the line. Its not natural at all. Hence why I despise female lizard and reptillian creatures having hair. And why Koshi doesn't have hair. Its so...wrong. Wearing clothes is one thing, but giving a already cute little dino a sprig of hair is just horrible.

i agree kinda i like fluffy things when they are intended to be fluffly like my yoshiken dragon. he was supposed to be fluffy making it alright with me. but this yoshi look pretty funky in a bad way right here born with clothes and hair?! not right.. atleast they could have made the spikes resemble hair... im sounding stupid now with my ranting...XD so bai now

And it looks like you can use Bowser for something (Super Bowser or "Suupaa Kuupa" shown): Yes i've read about that. In Paper Mario 2, Bowser isn't the bad guy. And he's so angry that someone else is doing his dirty work that he's willing to help Mario through his quest. I think your supposed to play as Bowser and make him eat so much meat, that he grows and destroys some levels. I don't know for sure though. I only THINK.

Aheh... well, welcome to the world of video game production. Even Mario's abilities have changed considerably from just about every single game. The most constant thing in Mario was the Super Mushroom, Star and Fire Flower and those haven't been used in their original ways for almost a decade. All Nintendo are really doing is making each Yoshi unique. The SMS Yoshi's were supposed to be a specific species which couldn't swim. The definitive Green Yoshi we know as a character has appeared in: Yoshi's Story (It is assumed the green Yoshi born at the start of the game is 'the' Yoshi, as the one in Yoshi's Island was already an adult when Mario was a baby. Mario is now between 30-40 years old based on Mario & Luigi, which would make Yoshi real old), Super Mario World (where Mario and Yoshi first met), Mario Kart, Mario is Missing, Yoshi's Safari, Super Mario RPG, Yoshi's Cookie, Mario & Yoshi, Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Mario Sports games, Mario Party games, Mario Kart DD and probably a few other games. The 'original' Yoshi was not in Yoshi's Island, Paper Mario or Mario Sunshine. Nintendo has never been massive on character development. Heck, the Legend of Zelda games feature no less than 4 different incarnations of Link. They have always changed things rather then set them in stone, for all their characters. As for being born with clothes and shoes.. well, its a game ^_^ Mario and Luigi weren't born, they were delivered by a stork remember. Anyways, this is quite a departure for the Nintendo character designs. I'm not too keen on the idea, though I'm even less keen on the design for the new Koopa Troopa character. I hope Kooper will atleast make a cameo.

I simply named him "Yoshi". I heard that Yoshi turns into a different color depending on which file you choose. I'm glad I got the green Yoshi, but my cousin got a red one. I'll always like the original Yoshi best, but I think Yoshi's attitude in this game is what makes him awesome. ^^ Although...it's kind of sad to see a giant Mario riding on such a tiny Yoshi. lol

You don't get him depending on what profile you pick, but how much time you've played the game. So,for example, if you get a red one the first time, if you hit the reset button and go back in your profile and wait for two minutes (i think it's two minutes???) you'll get a pink one. (i thiink it was pink for two minutes???) If you get a blue one the first time, then reset, get back into the profile wait 6 minutes, you'll have a green one. Oh, and i named my yoshi R-Yoshi, and he's Blue.
