Just found this in one of my wanderings over this new fangled interweb. This'll be awesome if its true. Imagine that, swinging the controller to attack enemies, aiming the bow, lobbing bombs, obligatory fishing mini-game, and so forth... I may just have to change my underwear.

Oh...Oh my... OH MY GOSH! I... I WANT IT SO BAAD! Oh, I'll get such a workout swinging that controller around! *whoosh whoosh, BAM* "Greg, is everything okay in there?" "Er, yeah, Mom, I didn't break your rare and valuable fifty-thousand-dollar vase..." Luckily, I have nothing breakable in my game room! =D And, if this happened, I'd stand up the entire time I played. I can't swing a sword sitting down. xD

I'll get such a workout swinging that controller around! What's really funny is that the people who hang around tech blogs like Joystiq and engadget keep complaining that the Revo's controller will give people carpal tunnel and make your arms tired...those wimps!

From what I hear you don't need to be swinging your entire arm around, just moving your wrists should be enough to get proper movement onscreen.

HAH! CARPAL TUNNEL!? WHO EVER HEARD OF SUCH A THING! >=D Wimpy whimpertons. xD Ah, really now? Just a flick o' the wrist, eh? In that case... No breaking expensive objects for me. ;_;

Yeah, I've seen that on 4cr before... umm, it would be super to play with the sword using the Revolutionary Remote TRIPLE BONUS MULTIPLIER ! !I think I decided which next-gen console would be the lucky one I will get firstly :B (Well, Xbox360 already fallen out in the world of a norby, due to its size / power supply size / bw compatibility issues / noise and heat making skillz, w00t. And in the front of all: THOSE GOOD LOOKING NEXTGEN GAMES, OMG YESH.) Good to see a few people from here read 4 color rebellion, btw. Makes me happy somehow D:

I lollered.
I think Nintendo should stop doing bits an pieces on current games and just make some new ones already. I'm tired of all these 'Version3.8937!' of a game...just make some decent new ones already and stop poking and prodding dead horses, Mr Miyamoto. D:

And you still haven't seen this. The one and only Frame City Killer from Namco, exclusively for Microsoft Xbox360. GO X360 GO. Er, how do you mean this? :B I think Nintendo really makes great jobs on their "sequel" games (counter-example: Electronic Arts does not), and that they usually move in their little franchise zone - ergo they produce endless amount of Mario, Zelda, etc games - is just pure marketing, I'm afraid. And I think that's really a performance they've made more than 30 games for Nintendo DS so far - and if you read through the whole list of these games, you'll see lotsa new franchises, like Nintendogs, Electroplankton, Band Bros., Polarium (which for now even has a sequel on GBA), and they released a number of non-game applications in Japan as well, like "Brain Training DS" and a funny kanji dictionary. And we haven't talked about Chibirobo on the Cube, or those überweird games on the GBA ( one two three). They're all new and fresh games. So beside these, I think Ninty totally has the rights to release such games like the 100th Mario Party, or the 1000th remake of the ol' Super Mario Bros. for the 1000th platform At least I think (in the case I caught the problem of yours about Nintendo's games properly ;P). YEH AND ZOMG I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE NINTENDO DS HAS TWO FRIGGIN DISPLAYZ!!1 What a gigatragical action against videogaming traditions, hahah.

Nonono...its not sequels I have a problem with. Hell, I love the Mario Party franchise as much as the next person. Its when they spend time making a bunch of gimmicks which have not much of a purpose (IN MY OPINION) than to be gimmick-y and yes, make it more marketable. Like the Zelda remote-control-sword thing. Call me old fashioned, but I want a game so I can play it through and have it done with. Not to fiddle around with buying so-and-so to unlock this-and-that.

Hail, for she is totally agreeable on, however after now having experience playing with a DS... This is very true, I do prefer to play a game as you would normally play a game. This said though, since having the DS, I've kinda started getting used to drawing on the screen and doing things to interact with the game. After playing Touch and go, I admit, while I thought the DS was gimmiky, this is infact pretty darn fun. You're no longer restricted by how fast something can move along the screen, you're restricted by how fast the player can do certain things instead, and that give the game a better approach. Swinging the pad around isn't the same though, plus I'm sure seeing as all those sensors are in the pad, I'm sure something can go wrong easily, so the question of reliability crops up. Touch screens have been around for years, and they've been used in thousands of applications, so thats not an easily breakable feature.

I don't mind the touch screen on the DS because I don't think of it so much as a gimmick, more like a built in feature which is used 70% of the time. If it was a seperate add-on, then I think it would be another pointless Nintendo thang, heh... I still want Yoshi's Touch 'n' Go.

Not to fiddle around with buying so-and-so to unlock this-and-that. Aaaah, so you mean, like the GBA / GCN link cable and its company? Well, that's true these things are pretty useless in the most cases: I have my GBA / GCN cable since last year, and I only used it once, when I unlocked the ol' NES Metroid in Metroid Prime and the Fusion Suit, wowies *draws a royal rainbow with his hands* But this case with the new Zelda game and the Revolution remote compatibility is not the same: it would be only that if you have to buy a separate, special controller for that game which you can only use in... that game (like Namco's Jog-con and Ridge Racers Type 4). At least in my opinion.

Yeah, I know what you mean by little gimmicky nonsense -- in more recent Mario Party games, you get a microphone with it - and can play some special mic games -- although 95% of the mic games could just as easily be operated with a controller, and likely more efficiently at that.
