Yeah, everyone gets all exited when something comes out, and then it ends up being a real stinker. I remember reading how people were getting ready for farming... and then...wham.

does it really cost alot of money to build a house?

Oh yeah it costs a lot for a house.

You start with being able to get a blank parlor for 1,000. This room has nothing in it except the doors... a shack. In this one room, you can add a book case, three chairs, a fire place, a rug, and curtains in addition to being able to branch off into another room. To complete this one room, you'll spend like 3000 in materials while GETTING EVERYTHING YOURSELF!!

When you start getting into second rooms, and more complex articles, it starts costing 400-500k when you hit the level 40 mark... getting everything yourself, EXCLUDING getting the costly extras such as marble blocks and gold leafing.

My clanmates are all going "the more money you have, the easier it is to level". Meh. Money isn't everything.

As much as it is a convenience, I don't really see a need for me to spend what I do have on building a house, especially when I'm just going to run out of money building it when I hit level 40 or so anyway. If it's that expensive, it can wait until I have 85 slayer for sure.

Of course for people (*cough* Skillers) like my father who do things when they come out, spending 5M on a house is no big deal when you can probably just make it back ._.;;

This skill costs a heap getting everything yourself.

To get an oak plank, you can buy it premade by players for 800-1k each.

To make it, you need to chop the oak and take it to a special guy and have it made for 250 coins.

Yeah... this skill COSTS!
