"Actual reason" is supposed to imply that there may be other motives for this, such as saying they're going to leave in order to get attention, and similar.

So, the question is, who is bothering her? There's a rule against harrassing members.

It's more than just a local rule, it applies everywhere. Offline it can get you arrested. Shouldn't have to live with that, and should immediately take steps to diffuse the situation with the harasser.
If it is a harasser, then knowing who would be an enormous help.
... There is an off chance that it isn't harassment, but a member's general tone, style or input that is the problem.

...You have got to be kidding me.
He should have stayed dead. You guys can block him through IM, and can report E-mail harassment to your providers. They will do something about it. At the very least mark it as spam so it's auto-deleted. You shouldn't have to live with this.
That's a more immediate, diplomatic and less messy solution than letting us deal with him... Again.

I think I'm going to have to have a word with this kid. He's really starting to get on my tail now. Everyone on this board should feel safe, away from these morons, and in the event they return and do this, they should be punished to the maximum extent possible. Just need someone who can view IP Addresses to 'whois' it and send a harrasment notice to this kid's ISP. Have his net suspended.
This is a friendly board, and no-one should have to take things like this. Seriously.
Why doesn't 'banned' mean 'banned' here?
Definition of banned = no longer able to do anything on a particular board, which includes PM's.
She can block/bounce other people's email's by entering them into a filter.
This kid's online. Time to have a chat. I'm not going to let him get away with this...
