Um...
If you stop the thief from stealing the bag from the old lady on the second night, you get a helpful bomb mask for your efforts. Additionally, the local shady establishment, lacking the fresh stolen goods that the thief would otherwise provide, will sell the insomnia all-night torture mask... though this is not cheap.
And if you be a little more specific, I might be able to give you relevant help.

Using strategy guides in the easy way out, the same way as cheats are, is what I think we're refering to.

The easy way out, yes.
But, more importantly, they ruin the game.
They spoil the fun of exploring, the fun of figuring ou puzzles. They take all the hard work that was put into making a game challenging and crush it for whomever uses it.
And the worst part is, once you've ruined a game for yourself, you can't have second thoughts and go back. It's not so easy to forget such things.

That game was quite enjoyable really. I collected all of the masks (Without a stradegy guide. Gasp!). Oh and I deleted the other post, so mission accomplished.  My most favorite mask to collect was the one with the mysterious guy with the blue hair that was magically transformed into a child before his wedding. I loved that mission, it was one of the most enjoyable and longest cooperative mission. ;D They still got married in the end. They give you the Couple's Mask after they combine their masks. If you run to the Mayor with the mask, he'll say something about working together or something like that.  |

 I loved the Fierce Diety... that guy was just.... ouch. Could Kill Odolwa in 2 hits, and Majora (all forms) in like, 10. |

Ahh, you mean Kafei? Yeah, that was a cool one...but hard to get. I hated waiting with the woman for him as the clock ticked down...very annoying. <=]
My favourite mask, I don't know...probably the Deku Mask. Or the Oldowa mask, I found it really cool when you actually traveled to the Moon and saw the kids in the masks playing...very freaky. =]

(Well... you sorta cant fight the fish with Fierce diety. He spends most of the time under water, and if you did manage to shoot him, you'd still have to go in the water and use Zara shield... )I love Cheatau Romiani! It gives you unlimited Magic Power so using Oni links attacks would be oh so powerfull. I always get Chetau Romiani first thing... Lets see if i can put down a pict of him wothout messing up  |
