Anyone ever have a paranormal experience? This is the place to talk about it. As for me, I think I saw a ghost once.
I was on my bike at the time and I saw someone ahead of me who was also on a bike. Nothing weird here. That's where I got lost in thought looking at the ground, and when I looked up a few minutes later, he wasn't there! There's absolutely no place to hide where I was at the time so he couldn't have hid somewhere, and it was along the highway, so I doubt he crossed the highway. I'm not sure if he was a ghost or what.

there was another one of these threads - i think in the yoshi café. it wasn't originally about paranormal discussions, however =D. i was actually thinking about it today.
heres a story to share, i just wish i had more encounters with the paranormal. i can't remember if i posted this in the other thread or not, it was 1 whole year ago when that thread was made D=. anywho, i was sick one day when i was about in second grade. my mom just let me, for the first time now, to stay home by myself. (i remember she told me not to eat anything, but that has nothing to do with it XD.) my mom drove my sister to school, which is only about 5 minutes away, and i sat on the couch, half freaked to death, half sick to my stomach. i didn't have the TV on, and it was about 8:00 in the morning. a little background info - my nono (grandfather) died only a few weeks ago. loved to play the piano, smoked (and breathed heavily.) smelled like peppermint (unimportant.) i had just gotten an old piano, maybe a month ago since it was a couple weeks before nono died. back on topic, i'm sitting on the couch. my piano, which is in the room next to me, starts "playing itself." not literally, but the hammers inside of it hit to the first few notes of the grandfather clock which used to be in my grandparents house when it chimed at the 15. (right now its in my house, and it freaks me out sometimes D=.) after the piano played, really softly so i don't know if i was imagining it or not, i could hear heavy breathing, from the other room though. i could hardly hear over my heavy heart beat and my own breath, but i was scared to death. it eventually stopped after a minute, and my mom came home a minute or two later. i have a few more, but i think that one was the most interesting =).

Wow, it must have been the ghost of your Grandfather. That's the only explaination I can think of.

I've got much... were to start? xD
ok... about 2 months ago, I LEVITATED. might look crazy, but real. i was dreaming... i don't remember what... i think i was dreamin about a manta ray as a dog and barking...
and he bite me and I fell in a trap so i was fallin with a bed, with a manta ray, (pretty freakin wierd hun?) and then i felt something... just like if you are really fallin and your heart is like... going up.... i was so high... i didn't touch the ground. i woke up, then i realized i was kinda flying.... then i opened my eyes... I FELL ON MY BED,LIKE IF I STOPPED FLYING SUDDENTLY... and I felt and heard the POOF when I landed on my bed. then i said: what the heck happened?? this thing HAPPENED ABOUT 3 TIMES IN MY LIFE!
second: about 5 days ago, I heard someone walking in my room and opening my light. you know the *tok* you hear when you open or close your light...
GUESS WHAT there was absolutly NOBODY in my house. my sis was at his boyfriend, my mom was babysitting,my bro was workin, my dad too. wierd? well there's this too.
there's about 20 dead fish in my aquarium.looks stupid, but sometimes in my bed (again) i feel something biting me. thrust me, I'm no liar.

My friends refer to my house as.... "Extreamly creepy and haunted" so... this is the place for me! I've had cabinets open and stuff fall out of them. Not creepy? Well, the stuff falls out later, not when it opens. I've had my dads ties fly across the room while I was home alone. Not fall. Fly. Doors close and open. Agian, not creepy? They lock themselves. I got locked in the basement for an hour before my mom came home. My cats freaks out a lot, sometimes he'll just dart out of a room or freeze in place. I have more, just I gotta go eat now.

gem, have you been looking at these items while they performed such atrocities? if so, it could be you who did this with your 'mind power' as people call it. i can somewhat interpret dreams, or make something of them. don't take them seriously though if you want me to D=

Red.yoshi could have a point there. Maybe you're psychic but just don't know it yet. Although I think you're living in a haunted house.
There was also a time when I saw 5 lights in the sky. It was cloudy and in the afternoon, so they couldn't have been stars. They were also moving. I think they were UFOs myself.

To Red: No. It just... hit me over the head. And I wasn't dreaming. I was there. Also, ever had a light flicker? Of course, not that scary. Ever have a light flicker and you unplug it, yet the light's still spazzing out? Yeah. Ever had a dream about someone dying? Happens to me before anyone dies. I know, it may a coinsidence, but still... suspisious. I may sound weird, but I am a sceptic. I don't believe in most things, but ghost's are just my thing.

i didn't imply you were dreaming, just stating a point that i can interpret dreams Despite the loss of my hand-eye coordination, I'm still pretty talented at painting words onto grains of rice.; i have had a dream about someone dieing, freaks me out, but they don't die like the next day or anything lol.

..here's one of mine...totally freaked me out at the time..
one morning, i needed $20 for something for school...but i only had three fives...so..i put them on the bed...then i turned around to get a pair of socks, (it was first thing in the morning, and i was getting dressed) then, when i turned around again, the three fives were gone, and a 20 was in their place!

Thats odd. I've heard things like that happening before, Narcissus, except money was stolen instead of given.
This isn't really a "Paranormal Experience," but I just thought it would be fun to share here =). Every morning when I wake up, I have a routine. I get out of bed, go to the bathroom, relieve myself (pee in the toilet for those of a less intelligence level?) and brush my teeth. This morning, I was extremely tired. I almost fell asleep going to the bathroom. When it was time to brush my teeth, I was staggering, trying to stay awake. In the middle of my brushing, during one of the moments I opened my eyes, a decayed hand dropped onto the sink next to me. I almost jumped right out of my skin. I blinked again, and the hand was gone. I think I was rubbing the sink after that one wondering where the hand had gone XD. I can't remember getting any sleep the night after either =(. The logical explanation for this incident was not enough sleep. Even though I hadn't even dream pt of decayed hands, or decayed matter of any sort, I could have still had a hallucination with an image stored in the back of my mind from another event. Its funny how the human brain works...

yeah....i think it's my dad...he died when i was....3 or 4, and lately, i think he's been looking out for me
here's another one: my father' parents were visiting me one night, and when we got to talking about him, i happened to glance out the window next to me, and i saw to little balls of orange light pass by my house, at about the same height as a person's eyes. people keep saying it could have been a moose, or other animal, but, i swear they flittered every now and then, like blinking

I'm sorry to hear about your father's death =(.
There could be a number of paranormal and logical explanations for the two small balls of light. It maybe paranormal activity, but I can't be for certain without enough evidence =\.
